U guys are funny. This Is google and they call according to ur order to place the call . They call to give ur verification code.

I'm from Mexico. I don't use gmail, but I do use Blogger and Yahoo, and I received an email several months ago saying that they have like an alliance or something like that, I didn't pay much attention. However, like some of you say, I've used for months and I received this call until today. I answered it because I have a friend with a number that looks alike, but when I picked up it was a recording IN SPANISH! Which translated said something like "Hello, thank you for getting our service in..." I can't remember what service was, something about confirming a transaction online or something like that, but I haven't done any of that in months (I hate shopping online). So I just hung up, but it was very weird, I NEVER give my number on pages.

I too got a call from this no. I did not receive the phone but it shows that I received the call nd had a talk for 24 second. Weird! Gud to know that its a useless no.

This no. called me but a recorded message gave me a code..and then straight after that my account credit was completly wiped out..and that hapens everytime I top up ma phone

Got a call from 650-353-9140 thanking me for using their verification service and leaving me a confirmation number.  No announcement of who they were or what the heck the code was for.  If it is indeed Google, why don't they announce themselves and why is the number not showing their name on a reverse phone number search?  AND they left me a message on my cell (this thie time saying it was from Google) but with a difference verification code!!  Then they phoned a 2nd time on my landline (this time their number was withheld) and I just hung up.  Hope they don't intend keeping my landline on a loop!!!  Annoyed.

What is the Northern California phone company doing about these pests, how can I block this fool from bothering me at 1-650-353-9140. All of a sudden I have a favorite contact named fling. What next from these cyber freaks?

Sounds like it was a spoofed call, but received a call showing this number on the ID, saying they were calling regarding "higher educational information;" typical call center noise in background.

I received  an email from some elizabeth ryan from maledon industries says she wants to buy footwear from and this phone number was mentioned

I'm sure that this number was given by Mr. Andrew Calton he is in need of staff for direct hire in metal mining located in Canada, mining company focused on gold mine. And I got interested by the ad he posted on a page searching for job. He said I have to make a scan cpy of my passport and cv to be considered. I won't give any private info unless I'm very sure about he person..the person maybe a scam because he gave me this number got a scam issue.
