Typical...pick up and there's no one there.  I hate these folks.  Calling to settle a debt that I paid in full the day of services ( Banfield ).  Banfield doesn't care, they turn over stuff that's already been paid because they apparently have a huge problem keeping their paper trail straight.

They call me 3 times a day 7 days a week all times of the day.  If I answer they hang up and if I let it go to voicemail it is a recording.  I have no debt and I want the calls to stop.

I just received a call today as well and it was a debt collector.  They claim on the contract besides signing up with the cell phone courier that they are also in the contract for a billing issue as well.

They told me they are going after for $300.  I told them I don't know nothing about it and I knew nothing in the contract.

I paid my cell phone company up and we redid a negotitation .   Just block them and thats it

I got several calls from this number recently. It was silence everytime when I picked it up, no one talked. Then he/she hung up. Pretty annoying.

Get calls from this # --- who is it?  I don't owe anyone any $$$$ !  How can I stop these calls?

Someone keeps calling me looking for another person, when I told them this was not his number, and that I have no idea where they could find this person, the woman on the other end said "well, we'll just keep calling then"!!! If that isn't harrassment, I don't know what is!

They call me too, but no one is ever on the line so when I see them on caller ID I ignore them. Part of the problem is that the collection agencies are very lazy and no one will call them on it. After I moved into my house three years ago I got a new phone number. I have had repeated calls from various collection agencies since then looking for someone who apparently was previously associated with my new number. They will not take any time to research anything. They have this number good or bad, so they call it. They could care less how much they bother people. Until there are laws - AND enforcement - to stop this stuff, it will continue.

About a month ago, I started getting calls on my cell from this #. They keep asking for a "Marissa". I am a guy & politely told them they have the wrong #. Now, what does wrong # mean to you? To mean it means I've dialed the wrong #, therefore why would I dial that # again? They keep calling! Last time, some woman said, "Well, do you know Marissa?" My response, "Uh, for the hundredth time, I don't know this person you're looking for. Will you please take me off your list?" Still, she goes on, "Is she your wife or your girlfriend?" What is with these people? What part of WRONG NUMBER don't they understand?
