Man from "US Postage Meter Center" called to ask how our failrly-new Pitney Bowes meter was running.  Gave me a number to call him if I needed supples (his name was Rala and the number he gave me was 1-800-777-6335 ext 19)

He then wanted me to verify my mod# or serial number on the machine, and I refused to do so.  Said I do not feel comfortable givng that info out over the phone.

I just got a call from a guy identifying himself as "Fala" from the USPS Postage Meter Service telling me that he was sending us supplies to get us through December. He asked to verify the model # of the meter. I told him our scale needed to be repaired and he said he'd send someone out to recalibrate it. I also told him that out meter machine needed to be repaired as the sealer was not working either. He said that was a different department. I again questioned him about the supplies because I knew we had plenty of labels. He said it was for ink, oil and labels. I told him we've never inked the machine ourselves and that we had plenty of labels. He then said he'd cancel the order. I asked to be transferred to the department that would repair the meter and he hung up on me.

A guy by the name of Austin called and asked me how my new mail meter is working. I told him about the issues we are having with the machine then he proceeded to say the reason why he was calling today was to send us updated supplies for the machine. RED FLAGS went up b/c I knew we got our supplies included with the price of our lease. He gave me his number 800.777.6335 ex 20 and said he was with US POSTAGE METER SERVICE. He asked for the model number on the machine. I told him I'd have to go to the next room to get it and placed him on hold. I then googled the phone number and came across this site where I determined the phone call was fraudulent. I then picked back up the phone and told him that I don't have his company on record as the one that deals with our machine. HE fumbled and said there must be some kind of mix up, apologized, and told me to have a good day.

1-800-777-6335 Called me today asking about my hasler meter. I spoke with a man named Kyle Jordan. He was very nice and helped me alot. I looked online to find nothing but bad things about his company. I do not think kyle or his company are a scam.

You know at first I thought , maybe we shouldnt be ordering from some one other then Pitney, but then I figured, well, give it a shot!? Some of there prices are lil bit higher, but they cant help it cuz they have to get it from someone else. But A LOT of there things ARE SO MUCH CHEAPER and they have the nicest customer srvc EVER! Pitnsy, u cant even get a LIVE person. And then they never have anything in stock. People shouldnt be so mean. They been in business over 30 years, that says somthing, I think. I love my rep, she takes care of me :0.

DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you get a phone call from 800-777-6335 or 661-257-2747 it is from a company called US POSTAGE METER CENTER, They are a SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!! Two weeks ago I got a phone call from a man who asked if i had recieved my chip for the recent postage price update.....I let him know everything was great and that was it. About five days later we recieved a package with a $419.63 worth of supplies with an invoice that had my name on it as their P.O.# When I tried to resolve this issue they tried to tell me I could not return and that there was also a restocking fee if I did( 25% ) when I looked them up on google I got nothing but bad reviews on many websites as well as th BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU. IF you get a phone call from them, tell them you are not interested and HANG UP!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just had a call, caller ID showed USPMC INC and female asked for whoever was in charge of our postage meter machine.  I told her we don't use one and she hung up.  Googled it and found the info here.  800notes is the best!

Judy called from United States Postage Meter Company and asked if everything was going ok with our Postage Meter.  Wanted to know if we were having any problems with sticking or jamming.  Said she was going to send our July allotment of postage meter supplies and that she would call again in November to make sure everything was going ok. I asked "What supplies" and she said labels and sealant.  I told her we do not order anything from her company, we get it locally.  I told her not to send me anything.  She gave me the number 800-777-6338 to call back if I needed anything.  This appears to be another scam like the copier scams.  Never give info to these people!

You had a person call the next day to verify, she even gives you a CONFIRMATION # and tells you when the supplies will be there. By accepting the confirmation #, you are accepting the supplies. They do not just send stuff out. You just didn't like the price on the invoice.

Had a call today from a guy sho said he was from the US Postage Meter Center and wanted to know how the postage meter was working and that he had my supplies ready to ship out that would get us through February.  I immediately told him absolutely not and hung up.    Why is it not illegal for these companies that call and try to make it seem as though they are the supplier that your company uses.

ANNA CALLED FROM USPMC, INC. WANTED TO GIVE ME A PHONE NUMBER TO CONTACT HER OVER THE HOLIDAYS IN CASE I NEEDED SUPPLIES. ASKED FOR MY PITNEY BOWES METER MODEL NUMBER AND MY NAME.

'US Postage Meter Center' I spoke to them on a Friday and they asked how everything was working. I told them everything was fine except the scale needed to be calibrated. Annabell ( 1-800-777-6335 Ext. 323) said that was great, she gave me a maintenance number (1-800-322-8000) and said someone would call on Monday to see how everything was. I found somehting strange about that but..ok..great customer service? Anyways, Monday morniong came around and the lady confirmed my address and gave me a confirmation number. Then she got offf the phone as quickly as possible..after she hung up and I thought over everything it seemed very fishy. I called back and spoke to someone, asked the name of the company and to cancle the order. She said the name so fast so I couldnt even understand the name. I had to ask several time. When she said US Postage Meter Center I knew it was not legit I googled them and got terrible information. This is a new scam it seems...so watch out!

Same thing happened to our front desk receptionist...his name was the customer po and they charged us for over $300 worth of labels and sealant we get for free from hasler. The number that is on the invoice is 661-775-7650. When I tried to call the number back, an answering machine came on after around 10 rings saying no one is hear to answer and to leave a message.  They did not mention anything about their company - US Postage Meter Center.  I obviously have not received a call back.

Just recieved a call from USPmc Inc. 661-964-6370 friendly guy just called, wanted to know how the metter was working. Said he could ship me supplies to last through November. Asked for my serial number on meter machine. Told the guy I handle my own supply purchases and would not be needing his help.

NO WHERE IN HER MESSAGE STATES SHE GOT A PHONE CALL WITH A CONFORMATION NUMBER YOU DUMMY!

Call from (661) 964-6370. Woman introduced as calling from the U.S. Postage Meter Supply Center and asked if I sent out the mail. Indicated I did. She asked if we had any problems with the machine. I asked her what we had for a machine and she was able to tell me. I did not confirm the model. I told her we have a contract and don't need any service. She then indicated they will be sending out their "quarterly supplies" for the machine. I told her we didn't need any, ask her not to call back, ahd promptly hung up on her. DON'T FALL FOR THIS SCAM.

This business is a scam...I can't believe that the Atty. General hasn't closed them down yet...Read this blog from the Better Business Bureau.

A lady called and asked if i had "been out of the office at all this week or last week" and i said "No"....she said "ok, i was just checking becuase we sent you a $10 walmart gift card, and it requieres signature to be delivered, and i guess you were not there to sign for it so they sent it back to us"..."what i will do is send it out again without a regquiere signature, along with your ink"...is said "Wait, what ink? I dont need ink i have pleanty"...."she said are you sure" and i said "yes, i dont need any supplies dont send me anything".

I'm probably going to get someting sent & billed to me now. Great.

I just got a call from Cynthia asking if I was out last week because she sent me a Walmart gift card that came back because I wasn't available to sign for it.  We've been burnt by this place before when I first took over the mail machine because we lost our receptionist and I didn't know the procedure for supplies.  She called and said their records showed we hadn't ordered for a while and asked what supplies we need.  I ordered envelope sealing fluid and we got a billed for $279 for 4 bottles.  This time she wanted to send out ink cartridges.  When I asked her to verify the contract number, she give me bits and pieces of phone numbers. I told her don't send anything.

The same "tried to send you a Wal-Mart gift card" just happened to me as well. Then she said "Your supplies will be there mid-September". I said "We do not need anything" and in the middle of my sentence she hung up. I called the number back and told the woman who answered (just by saying "distribution") that I was just hung up on and do not need or want anything from their company. She just said "I'll let them know".

FYI if anyopne sends you merchandise that you did not order, you can keep it for free. Just send them a certified letter stating that you did not order it and they have 30 days to pick it up, otherwise you are keeping it.
