Rang unlisted mobile. Unbelievable..166 pages. Wow!! Call blocked by a cloud service app. It reported that 1507 people had flagged this number as scam. Strange user name. From this thread it appears multiple spoofing and spamming activities with the the most serious and repeated scam of "microsoft" or "windows" shake down for phoney and malicious "virus" removal. What is amazing is that people on this thread fell for it to the tune of $300!!

Many calls in recent weeks from 661-748-0240. Says Skype call, Keeps calling back--I don't answer because scammers from India have called me . Very annoying.

usually the calla say private caller no number. This time it was 661 748 0240. They called 3 times. I answer and say nothing. Indian accent woman saying hello mam can you hear me hello hello then hung up. Called me twice after that I did the say any thing so will see if they call again. Someone reported they say that they are Microsoft. I called Frontier says hat cannot block telemarker calls. I hate this company. Their service stinks..

Caller sounded like an old woman from the Philippines, but answered that his/her name was "Steven" when I asked.  He/she asked for me by name, but could not pronounce "Lynne."  I hung up.

This loser called pretending to be a customer of our business and got nasty with me when I asked him who he was (it was clear I didn't believe him). Then he tried to hurt my feelings saying "fine, lose a customer" and hung up on me.   There is no-one at the number when you call it back.  I wish he'd stop by my house so I could throat punch him.

got a call from a man with a thick accent and he asked for an associate regarding some medical issues.  Said he was quinton decock from NY City Hospital.   SCAM!  BEWARE!!!

calls me 10 times per day. I called it with no answer and they called me even more.

This is the Skype number I use for my clients. It seems someone has hacked my number. I am definitely not a scammer.

Multiple calls with no message. Lately 4 or 5 numbers are calling several times per day and all are claiming to be Microsoft  and all userids are "city sate". Fortunately they rarely get through my call blocker and I rarely hear even one ring. They are not clever at all, often placing anonymous calls (automatically blocked) and revealing their number for permanent blocking.

Definitely NOT legit.

Thick accent claims to be Eric Brown from Children's Hospital.  asked for an associate here. told her that they have some documents that have incorrect information.  She told them that they are scammers and that she is calling the sheriff and that our phones trace calls.  He hung up and now they are going to be blocked.  BEWARE!!!

Guy with East Indian accent called my no. I thought it was a friend in Bakersfield CA, so I picked up the phone. He said that they got a notification from Microsoft that my computer was detected with virus. Gave him a hard time, pretended that I was having that issue and tried to get information from him so I can give him my payment. After a long conversation, I told him that the conversation was recorded and he and his company are being tracked for scamming millions of Americans. He hang up immediately.

I would like this pone number blocked from my phones.

adding to a VERY long list of "Microsoft" wannabe scammers over the past 10 days...

I'm glad they use "Anonymous" in the caller ID so I don't have to dedicate another precious blocking slot to this number.  Makes life e-z :)
