Can you elaborate on your "do not call list," please?  Is this a list that you have on your phone? Did you simply write it on a legal pad? Or does someone else have the list?  Maybe if someone else has this "list" you speak of, they can name it and use it for whatever they want, don't you think?  I have a strong confidence that you can actually, believe it or not, think yourself through this very tough question of yours and possibly come up with a very valid answer.  Please let us know how you do, we are all pulling for you.  Good luck!!

Consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so. If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number. For tracfone & straight talk:

For text messages: forwarding any text message spam you get to the short code  “7726,” which spells “spam” on most phones, to alert your network operator to the abuse. ATT won't accept 7726 But they will accept BLOCK and return a message that the web site is blocked. forward the texts to 7726 or BLOCK, depending on your phone carrier.

You might read the book, "Deliverance".  It is by James Dickey.  He is quite a writer and a fine poet as well.  The book is subtle and well-crafted.  Read and ask yourself questions.  The first 3 pages of the chapter "September 14th" are key to what the author is asking you, the reader, to face, the contradictions of Life and Death.  The same Sin, both celebrated AND punished.  Your local library should have the book.  Take a chance?

Called my cell this morning at 6:30 AM. I thought it was a family emergency. Asshats.

Caller ID said: Scooba MS!  Don't know anyone in MS, let alone Scooba!  Let it ring over to my answering machine and just before my greeting started the call hung up!  Robo SCAMMER!!!  Blocked future calls.  Pain in the butt!!!  DNC is absolutely useless!!!!!!!

How do you block calls?

This is a call from a lower your interest rate scam. DNC list will not work. These are crimials. Might as well have fun. After pressing #1 use the following fake info

"She" tells you to hang-on while she verifies your balance.

Of course you hang up while she calls the FBI !!!   :)

If she's really Pi$$ed, you'll get a couple of calls back in short succession which you don't answer.

Once I had a guy that called and he came back after the FBI call to tell me I was a funny guy.

I also found out that they are not a true credit services number. They are fishing for credit information in order to steal identities. I have used my phones block call feature because the "Do Not Call list" will not help you. It is not a true business.

Called at 6:45 am , wtf!!!  Id showed MISSISSIPPI , rang 3 times , no message . Just the fact it was that early on a week day ... blocking !!!

The Do Not Call List is managed by the Federal Trade Commission and is mandated by law. However, the criminals do not follow the law, thus making this list useless.
