They called me several times for someone else. The message said it was CBE or something.

Call was received on my prepaid cell which has been registered on the Do Not Call list.  I did not answer.  They did not leave a message.

I have received several calls, usually while I am at work.  As soon as I answer, they hang up.  If I ignore it and let it go to voicemail they don't leave a message.  I am only receiving them on my cell phone never on my home phone...I am so annoyed!

They called again today around 4pm.  No message.  I guess I need re-read the do not call list website to see what can be done to report this violation.

Have received three calls in the last week from this number.  They immediately ask for me by name and then ask me to verify my mailing address.  When I refuse, they ask me to verify the last four digits of my SS#. They must be crazy in this day and age of identity theft.  They will only identify themselves as the CVE or CBE (not sure) company and will not give any further info. about the company "due to the personal nature of the call."  This screams SCAM!

My husband received these calls and they ask for some one close to my name but not me and they were extremely rude to him.  wouldn't give him any info.  He called back and spoke to the manager to have our phone number completely removed.  What they do is search for the first initial of the person they are looking for along with their last name and call anyone and everyone that is potentially that person.  Not sure if thats the best way of going about finding a person but its absolutly ridiculous.  Call that number back if you have issues and they will remove your number.  Hope this helps.

Called me early in the morning and no message.

This "debt collection" group calls my work number at least once a day, and doesn't leave a message, and doesn't answer when I try to talk to them.  I am one of the lucky few who doesn't have any debt, other than a home mortgage that is completely up to date, so I know this call isn't for me.  However, I've called them back, with no repsonse, and have no idea how to get them to stop calling.  Very, very annoying.

get a daily call on my cell phone daily from this number -"joe yes, every day. Then the automated message states that if I am "Joe Blow" I should press 1, if I am not , I should press 2. Anyone know of a way to block numbers on a cell phone?
