I get calls from this number all the time.  I don't answer, they don't leave a message.

i have been called repeatedly for the past week; no message left; very annoying

I wonder then what my father (who has been deceased for years) owes them. They called twice today asking for him. Funny that after all these years of being on my fireplace mantel, he starts running up a bill that he can't pay. I also wonder what an urnful  of ashes would want to buy in the first place.

This number has called me twice in the past 24 hours.  I answer and they immediately hang up.  It is as though they are trying to get into the voicemail system somehow.  Very strange!

Used my cell phone and wanted someone with the same name but different address.  How do they get my cell phone number?  I HATE getting marketing and someone else's collection calls on my cell.

Stop calling for unknown person

I get calls from this number about once a day. I did call it back and was put on hold. I want to have this number bl;ocked.

I've repeatedly received phone calls from a number identified as 678-331-7257. I have no idea who these people are. I deeply resent these parasites burning up my minutes.

It really makes me mad that these people can repeatedly call and harass you on you CELL phone! Is it not enough they get your home phone too?!

These a**holes call me day after day, but never leaves me a message.  I never picked up every time I get a call from them.  Probably some dumba** collection agency who calls me and wants me to be screwed over.

Addendum:

I registered all my cell and landline numbers with the National Do Not Call List yesterday. Will do likewise for my internet phone number, and change all outgoing voicemail messages to state "This number is registered on the National Do Not Call List."

Has called twice today and has not left a message. I plan on blocking the number. If it's an important phone call they can leave a message. I fthey keep calling nad dont leave a voicemail, obviously it's not that important.

They called my cell phone and asked for someone I don't even know. Today they have called twice. Both times I told them they have the wrong number.

This is a collector, get a call blocker - then they can't bother you!

They started calling from this GEORGIA number a few days ago-- call once a day, never leave a message. IF this is a collection agency, they are not legitimate. Do not give them any information. Best not to even pick up.

The law requires that a debt collector contact you in writing, leaving their name, address, account number, and the amount of the debt, and the origin of the debt. At that point, you can send them a certified letter demanding that the debt be verified, that is, they show you proof 1) that the debt is yours, with original contract and signature, 2)proof they own the debt, and the actual date when the account went into arrears. If it is older than the statute of limitations in your state, they have no basis to force you to pay them, even if they CAN verify that it is a legitimate debt and that it belongs to you. Most of the time, they cannot verify the debt, because these are bottom-feeding junk debt buyers, who obtain a print-out with hundreds of names on it, and they have no documents to back up the lines on the print-out.

They will waste your time and theirs trying to make you feel guilty. Don't buy it. It is not your fault that they paid pennies on the dollar for some lines on a print-out.  Unless they can verify the debt  -- and if it more recent than the statute of limitations - what they "paid" for a line on a print-out is their problem, not yours. These are vermin who crawl out from behind garbage cans in the back alley in hard times like these, and in the absence of any limits put on them by the Best Congress Money Can Buy.

automated voice told me to hold for CBE group and when i answered they were asking for someone by a name unknown to me.
