Has been calling my house 10 times a day and leaves a message but when you call back you don't get anyone. They have started calling my family. This has to stop.

They called my job and left a message with one of the employees saying this was such an emergency to call them and if I didn't they would take legal action.

This woman called called from (678) 593-2340 asking for my bosses sister.  I told her she didn't work here but she called back again and asked for my boss.

He happens to be out of the country so when I told her she rudely half laughed and hung up on me without saying anything further.

Wake up all of you!!  These guys are scam artists.  Never pay anyone who threatens you!!  If they are legit, they will mail you a bill.  Stop falling for BS over the phone and giving your hard earned money away unless that's what you enjoy.  ALWAYS seek legal counsel.  File a bankruptcy and get rid of all your debt.  It feels great to be free of debt and start fresh.

I have an account with them that I was unable to pay do to losing my job. I was served on the debt that they were suing me. I contacted them directly and they pulled the case from court and put me on a payment plan. They very nice about working with me on an arrangement I could do. Thanks

This is part of the reason the country is in the predictament we are in. People need to pay back what they take. If you loaned someone money you would expect them to pay you back!!! People do the right thing, and pay your bills..

Nope. We are in the "predicament" we're in because of the 16 MILLION who are currently unemployed and CAN'T pay their bills.

I have asked these people over an over again to quit calling. They lay off for a while, then start up again.

They are bothering me because my punk ex step-son, who I haven't seen in 17 years wrote my name down as a referral on a loan application or other financial application.  Nobody called me and asked me if he was viable, because I would have absolutely said he wasn't.  I have repeated this to these Nelsen Hirsch folks several times, but they won't leave me alone.

I babysat one of these employee's young baby. She was a collection agent here and funny thing is that the heffa NEVER paid me on time, and her child was ALWAYS sick. The boyfriend, or "baby daddy" came to my door like a crackhead, complaining about paying me for childcare. She always dropped her kid off smelling like weed! I keep getting calls from this number. First it was a bunch of hang up calls and when I would call the number back to see who it was no one would answer. I noticed that the calls did not start until I applied for a few pay day loans over the net during some hard times. All I got out of that whole mess was a bunch of scam calls like this one. Now some lady is leaving messages from this number saying she is an attorney and I need to call her back because she has my name and social??? Look at the businesses that are allowed to operate? Go figure. This is why I only use my cell phone for anything net related. Once I get tired of this crap my number will be changing. I can deal with the telemarketers but outright scamming people? Its just not right.

Same here. She said it was fraud related. As far as I'm concerned, if yu cannot send me something in writing you are not legit. Debt or not. Scam or no scam.

I worked for this job very briefly & let me tell ya it is in fact a SCAM. The company is owned by a spanish guy named Eddie & his ugly wife who buys payday loans from the people you owe for little to nothing & he turns around & gets his UNDERPAID  employees to harass you. This taught me to never apply for craigslist jobs again because a scam is what you will get.This is a collection agency not a Law firm they are told to lie so that it seems important. They get your next of kin or family info from an internet software site called accurint. I couldn't deal with the lies & deceit so I never went back. Nelson Hursh & Associates is a load of crap. Don't let them scare you into paying. Think about this, how could they threaten to take you to court when they are in Fairburn, GA & you live else where? That is out of their jurisdiction. BABYSITTER was right that is the building that was on fire.

I just received a call from this place looking for an ex-friend of mine, someone I haven't been on speaking terms with since 2006. I tried to get info from them, like how they got my number for instance, but they would only tell me that they were calling about a "legal claim" they had against my former friend.

I received a message from 678-593-234O that showed up on the caller ID but on the voice mail the number was 678-593-2376. This guy stated he needed me to call back ASAP with a long claim number. Then he said he was investigating my Social Security number. Prior to him calling a guy called asked if I was Janice V. When I said yes, he then gave me an address number and asked if it was mine, when I said why he hung up. Legal business should be handled in a civil business way without tricks.

This was a number that kept showing up in my caller id without a message.  Today they called me up pretending that a relative was applying for something and listed me as the reference.  Wanted me to give her a number for the person and/or send along a message.  Wouldn't tell me what kind of application it was.  Not rude, probably because I kept my cool, but definitely evasive.  It was easy to spot the lies though.  I got off the phone quickly.  Lying on the phone is just shady.

I think these are the same people who were going after this relative a year ago. They left a message on my S.O.'s phone number indicating that the relative had him listed as an emergency contact and help was needed.  All lies, and then they screamed at me when I asked questions.
