Some weird guy insisting I was someone else.Completely rude dick

I would suggest recording the calls.I already reported them to my phone company and they are keeping a log of the calls.Basically a bunch of dopes in cubicles who can barely speak in complete sentences.I spoke to someone who called them self Mr Monfort,a name obviously made up.He was rude and seemed to have no idea who he was talking to or why.He kept saying he was going to call my mother...who is not here anymore.A very strange mix of ignorance and incompetance,avoid these calls,block them or report them for what they are...an idiots entry level job for those who are functionally illiterate .
THEY ARE NOT A REAL LAW FIRM AND HAVE NO AUTHORITY BASICALLY JUST DATED INFO ON A CLIPBOARD AND A ROOM FULL OR IMBECILES.
Many places to file complaints online if you would like although I suspect their job is punishment enough-

I just got a call from them. And they were rude!

I am reporting this number as someone I don't know. We have never been late on a bill in our entire lives. I am ignoring any of these numbers that I don't know. I'm getting sick and tired of them calling at all hours of the day and night. I'm about to change our phone number.  I know it's a scam and I want them reported.

i just got a call today after 230 stating i must call b 5pm eastern time in order to prevent further action.not sure who it was but message stated cohen, swartz and associates i never heard of them. i try not to answer cdalls any more since once before iwas  scamed out ofmoney thinking it was a collection company needeing me o pay a bill. they call from 678 608 3229. investigating officers legal documents. 1888 286 3470 ex  num but i never got letters or anything but i also know the FDCPA laws and they must send info first.

Cheryl, I don't know if you will get this, but did they state that they were from the County Assessor's office? I got a call from the sheriff's office this morning in the city I live (it's small) and they asked my name and I confirmed, then he started to talk and then the line went dead. I called the sheriff's office back and they had no clue what was going on.

I have had several calls from this agency. They have threatened me with jail due to "passing bad checks" they have threatened that they have contacted the county court to which I reside. They pass me back and forth between this "lawyer" and this "lawyer" and this "supervisor and that "supervisor". When I called back the number with the extension that I had left on my voice mail. I was told that I couldn't talk to MRS. MATTHEWS because she was in a deposition. So, after about a month of this crap, this morning I have a call AT WORK from my local sheriff office. When they asked if this was my name and I said you are correct, they started to talk and then the line went dead. I immediately called the sheriff office back (i have teenage kids that I wanted to make sure were ok) the dispatcher told me that both detectives were out and none of the officers were in the office and that she would have no idea who else could call. SO...the law office of Cohen, Schwartz and Associates have stooped to a new low!!!!

I got a voicemail in my phone telephone number asking to return call or there will be notifying to my employeer something. If I ha any allegations I have to call back.  I try to call back but no one answer the call.

I was 1 of the many who filed a complaint with the BBB and the FCC, consumer protection, and attorney general's office in GA. these scamers change the name of business, location, & keep changing their names.

NEVER PAY THESE [***] ..ASK FOR VALIDATION OF DEBT. THEN ASK FOR THEIR MAILING ADDRESS, IF THEY ASK WHY.. TELL THEM THAT YOUR LAWYER WANTS TO KNOW WHERE TO SEND A COMPLAINT.

Also let them know that you know the Law and a collection agency CANNOT threaten you by legal action!
they will stop calling you.

Calls and claims they are special agents and are going to take me to court

I.m getting calls from this number threatening to file an affidavit with court. They have called 4 times in the pass five  minutes today.. They also had some one call from two other numbers i'm going to post those numbers also. They used cohen and schwartz name and gave a wrong address on Peachtree in Atlanta Georgia

Bunch of [***]!  I received a call earlier this week from 678-608-3229.  This morning I received a call from the same number.  The caller identified himself as Joshua Bridgeforeman (sic) (ext. 816) and said he was calling regarding a criminal matter and had not received any correspondence from me or my attorney.  Said he works for Coleman & Schwartz.  He threatened to escalate the matter if he did not hear from me or my attorney today (8.31.2011) by 2 p.m. EST.
I called back, and the receptionist answered the phone with “Coleman & Schwartz, who am I speaking with?” I refused to give my name, and asked for extension 816.  Joshua came on the line and began reading from a script.  I asked him what this was regarding, and he wanted me to verify that I was who I am.  He gave my name and had the last 4 digits of my Social Security number.  I refused to answer that, and again asked him what he was calling about.  He said it was a private matter, and I countered with “Well, if it’s a criminal matter, it will be a matter of public record, so go ahead and tell me.”  He refused, so I said, “Fine, you can call my attorney and discuss it with her.”  At that point, he refused to do so, and told me I could contact my attorney once I’ve been charged (and was trying to also imply that I will be arrested).  Then he hung up.  Bring it, bitchez!

If anybody gets a call from west field and assoc. or collinsworht assoc., I have put trace on these two bull [***] companys and there is no record of these son of [***]'s in the U.S.A......1st son of [***] is ALEX MARTIN said he was from a company named WEST FIELD AND ASSOC. and THREATEN a 72 yr. old woman and said he was cop and that would make sure she pays a 9 yr. old bill, well my friends she is the wife of law enforement officer and she has 3 sons who are in law enforcement....you don't say or make anybody think you are a cop in the STATE OF TEXAS. you will go to jail in a heart beat....they think  they can hide behind these 1-800 numbers or these rented numbers, i have news for them when they threaten this 72 yr. old lady who is a close friend of mine they cross the line by telling they was cops.I am GOING TO DO MY VERY VERY BEST TO SEE THIS SON OF [***] ALEX MARTIN IN A TEXAS JAIL.....2nd son of [***] by the name MR. LONG said he was from a company by the name of COLLINS WORTH AND ASSOC. I will call him Mr. LONG DONG he also threaten he was cop or made the person think he was a cop...that against law in the STATE OF TEXAS, MR.LONG DONG WAS THREATEN PERSON OVER THE PHONE AND WANTED THAT PERSONS S.S. NUMBER OVER THE PHONE I GOT THE CALL AND I CALLED MR. LONG DONG AND TOLD HIM COULD TO HELL AND THE HORSE HE RODE IN ON. I AM ALSO GOING TO TRY MY VERY VERY BEST TO SEE THAT THIS LONG DONG SON OF [***] GOES TO A TEXAS JAIL......if you want help with these SOB's call 469-951-1152

When that person shows up on your door step...to give papers call the cops and they will put his or her ass in jail.....ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My grandmother recd a call from someone named investigator Norris. She provided her name and number. Erin Norris and phone # 888-286-3470. Ext. 801. She told my grandma it was important I call or the county police would be picking me up. I immediatly call. The receptionist answers. Asked who I was. She connected me to Erin Norris. She stated I wrote a 700 dollar bad check on 12/30/09. I said I don't really write checks. What is this pertaining to. She said I had a pay day loan from Cash Net. I said I don't recall this. She insisted I pay the 700 dollars or I would be picked up by the county police. Asked me did I have any warrants or was I on probation? I explained to her I have never been in trouble with the law. She said she was calling the county police and for me to listen and write as they talk. She calls gives them a case # and my name.this person now says I'm in the system but nothin to come and get me yet. She then says I owe 794.73. When the line clears norris says how much can you pay. I said if I owe something this is the 1st I'm hearing about it and I could work something out with them. To make a long story short I was so afraid of being picked up by th police I provided my bank card info.paying half n the next to be takin out on my next pay day. Speaking to my fiance about this. He advised me to call by bank and cancel the transaction. I called the local police dept. He stated this was a scam in they could not do this and to call my bank and cancel my card. I did just that. Bank stated they had to wait until it posted be for I could file a claim. I waited and filed my claim. Sad to say they denied my claim and norris called on payday and left a voicmail that the 2nd payment declined. She has called me n my grandma several times. We don't answer. #. Calling from. 678-608-3227. Recd a call from a 410 area code. My area code in my city. A lady says Bureau Investigations. Asked to speak to me. She asked what city I live in. I said why are u calling my job. She said do u still live in my old city. I said no and why are u calling my place of employment. She got mad and said maam good luck n hung up. The # she called from was410-265-8080. My local FBI #. I'm very angery at myself for falling to these [***]! This is not the FBI calling and these people are a bunch of scammers I want takin down! They deserve some jail time!
