Good grief,  That number has to be a fake because only a hostage would me in Minot, ND.
Stationed at the AF Base there for 2 winters  years ago. Never been so cold in my life.  Joking of course because the people there were wonderful.

Just disconnects! No answer! I track this call, don't ask me how, it top secret! As a former electronics eng.tech. in the telecommunications world, I found how that this call came from Kerala Telecom Circle BSNL in Thiruvananthapuram, India. Did you know that they can program the SIM card on the mobile phone to make it look like it came from N.D., U.S.A.? You can ask Mr. Shrivastava in India how he did that!

Report to the FCC and FTC too. They both have an online form you can fill out for these calls, including robot callers.

I think we should demand that our phone company give us a call blocking service. I can block six numbers through my AT&T account, but I get six calls in less than a day sometimes. Based on what I've read, the phone companies make a lot of money off of these scammers, so they should give us the opportunity to block them.

Well,they called again, this time caller ID shows Not Available and number was 11-701-248-1752

Do want them to calling me all time, I have no business or what so ever this caller

Repeat calls, no response when answered obviously a scammer.

My CID just had the city and state of Minot, ND

I received a call from 111-701-248-1752.  Caller id said 'Not Available'.  I never answer calls from numbers I don't know and certainly not from a number like this.  I'm guessing it's the same scam that others have reported above.

Another day another robo call . did not know # so did not answer . CID SAID MINTO ND ? left no message - go figure. Tripped answer machine but did not show a recorded call ??? Waste of time again . 6 times today alone from different #'S. Why have a phone when these outnumber regular calls ??????? GRRRRRRRRR

Just got the same call....  Caller ID said  Minto   ND.   I answered the phone, silence, then an automated voice came on saying "This is  John Tyler. How are you today".  I said "Who is this?"  and it must not have liked my response and disconnected.   I have Anonymous Call Blocking (free in RI) and are on the Do Not Call List, but they said that random dialing calls do get through now.  There was a time where we didn't get any of these calls, just by having an unlisted/private number.   We have been getting a lot of these calls lately!   But, one thing I remember someone telling me....never say the word "yes" or give any information like your name during these calls.    It is very frustrating!!!

Must be my lucky day.  Have had nine calls (from different numbers, apparently scam #s) so far and it is only mid-afternoon.  Have not answered, just look them up - guess they think I have nothing to do - NOT!

I called back on this # 701 248 1752....the recording came on both times I called, saying that, my call could not go thru., to hang up and dial again???  I did....same message, scumbags is mild!!!

701-248-1752 = caller id = 7012481752 = claims they want to install security system, but they asked too many personal info...scammers...I am blocking and so should you

I received a call from this number. When I said hello no one responded but they were still on the line so I responded. I keep a whistle by my phone and I blew the whistle in their ear. I have done this with other callers and it works better than the "Do Not Call Registry". They never call back after getting the whistle blown in their ear!!!

I agree.  If not for the DNC  we'd be getting a LOT more calls.

Side note:  Luckily my cell number hasn't been hijacked.  Of course my home phone has.  But, I have to say that I've gotten fewer and fewer over the last year or so; I guess a combo of reporting them and not answering.  As fun as it may be to "string em along" or mess with em, if you answer, your number gets saved and sold.
