Received call on land line -- caller ID said "Reset."  I don't answer anything I don't recognize until I check with this forum.  "Reset" fits the profile of the scam wanting to "reactivate" a credit card, so I did not recall.  Thanks to everyone on 800notes for the heads up!

I received two calls from this number.  June 8 at 10:16pm and June 9 at 4:08 pm.  Both calls said "Your HSBC Mastercard has reported stolen.  Press 1 to cancel the card and speak with our security department".  I do have an HSBC account  but only have $2.00 in the account but do not have a Mastercard associated with this account.

I called the number back and the recording said "Thank you for calling back.  If you are not intrested in receiving future calls in regards to our preferred marketing list, please press 1 to be put on our Do Not Call Listl"

Just got a call today, recorded voice left a message saying press 9 if you want to reduce your credit card interest rates to 6.9%. I didn't pick up and now thanks to this site, I know it's a scam caller!

We get a call from this number once a week.  It says something about a 6.9% rate reduction on our credit card, and then something like "you should consider this your final notice" (I wish), and then says to press 9.  I hung up and tried to call back but it just plays that 3-tone alert and says "all circuits are busy, please call back at a later time."

Seems like there is enough evidence here that calls from this number are fraudulent.  I wish that were enough for the phone company or law-enforcement to just globally block calls from this number.

Got msg. that indicated they would reduce my interest rate.
I took call and the first question they asked was what is total credit card debt?
I said you should know since you called me... they hung up.

Claimed to be Credit Card Services that could lower my CC rate.  I pressed 9 to speak to an operator, but when I told her I'm on the Do No Call list and to take my number off - she hung up.

I got a call from this number saying that it was urgent that I press a number to hear about reducing my credit card interest rate. I pressed the number to ask to be removed from the list. When someone answered the phone, she identified herself as Sarah and asked if I'd pressed the button to hear about reducing my interest rate. I answered No, I'd actually like to be removed from your call list. She hung up on me. Infuriating.

I ended up calling the number and there's an option to press 1 to be removed from a call list. Great. But I resent repeatedly being called by these rude people and having to take time out of my day to be treated like crap and then ask them not to treat me like crap. Is there really nothing that can be done to stop these calls?

I just emailed the North Dakota Attorney General's Office to complain about this company (their number has a North Dakota area code) because they're calling in violation of the national Do Not Call registry. I encourage you to write and complain too!

I get calls from 701 509-8703 almost daily. I just hang up on it or don't answer. I decided to press the number they indicated in the message and was transferred to a lady who said something like, "I understand that you are interested in lowering your interest rate on your credit card?" and I said, "Actually, I'm interested in getting my number off of your calling list." Then she giggled and hung up on me.

Wouldn't happen to me I don't have long distance on my land line service. I use my cell phone for all long distance calls. And I do not under any circumstances answer my cell if I don't know the number.

Received a call from this number. It was an automated recording saying they could reduce my credit card interest rate to 6.99% and that I should press 9 to speak to someone. I did this just so I could speak to a live person to have myself removed. When someone answered and told them to remove me from their call list, he immediately hung up on me.

I just got a call from this number, at 12:20 AM.  The robotic voice said my Sun Trust Mastercard debit card had been frozen, press one to activate.  I started laughing into the phone because #1) I don't bank with Sun Trust, and #2 I don't use Mastercard.  Yeah, instant red flag for a scam for me.
