- Sour LemonadeI got a call from this number claiming to be my bank. Said my card was blocked etc.etc. I pressed a number to see ifa person answered. I'll check phone company tomorrow to be sure that my phone number hasn't been lifted for charges. I called back and got an answering machine message from a woman with a carribean accent. Of course, no company or name was given in the message.
Question: How do they know where I bank, or is that totally random?- Caller: 701-509-8703
- Sour Lemonade replies to San Antonio, TxI just posted saying that I called back and a carribean woman taped the message. I'm guessing it is an offshore island scheme, then.

They called me at 1:53 in the MORNING! My mother is 87 and in hospices care and my heart when through my throat receiving a call at that time of the morning.
FORTUNATELY they hung up before I could answer so I am not a “live person” they can sell my number to or know they can continue to call.
They are claiming to be different types of companies so beware!

On Saturday July 23, 2011 at 2:01 PM CDT, I received an unsolicited phone call from 701-509-8703 on my cell phone. The caller was a computer that proceeded to tell me that my XYZ Bank account had a security lock on the debit card. The computer then asked if I wanted to unlock the security lock, and I entered my debit card account number, expiration date, and PIN number. As soon as I entered this information, I realized that I made a mistake, and this was probably a scam. So I hung up. I immediately called my XYZ Bank and reported to that what happened, so they closed my debit card account. I subsequently searched the internet for the phone number 701-509-8703 and found that other people had experienced similar scams from this number.
