Got a call this morning around 8 a.m. & one yesterday around 4:45 p.m.  I never answer any number I don't know.  Thanks for all the info from everyone on this site.

Received a call from this number claiming my Debit card was deactivated and I needed to phone in to get it reset.  As the phone call came in we were using our Debit Card and it is just fine. TOTAL SCAM!!! DO not press any numbers. SCAMMER!!!

I got a call from this number yesterdays.  Said they were from Windows Technical Support, which I had tried to get ahold of, and said they were in Los Angeles.  The person on the other end was a foreigner and I couldn't understand him at all.  Asked to talk to an American.  Switched me to another person who said they were the supervisor and their accent was even worse.  Said I wanted to talk to an American so I could understand what they were saying.  Finally, got a girl on line.  She said my computer was in danger of crashing.  That I needed to pay $295 to protect my computer for life.  Told her to forget it - and she told me "Good.  I hope your computer crashes!!" and hung up.  Had to be a scam!!

I got a call from 701-509-8703 at 5:09 MDT 8/5/2011 saying my debit card has been deactivated to press 1 for instructions, after pressing 1 another message asks to enter your 16 digit debit card, where I promptly hung up.

Had a missed call from this number twice.  Glad I looked it up on here.  Now to figure out how to block it.

Caller I.D. said Reset.  It was a recorded message saying I had won a free home security system.  Tried to call back and got message it was not a working number.  Looked on Whitepages.com and it is listed as a cell phone in Minot, ND. Did not want to pay $1.99 to find out who it is.

Received a call today on my cell phone.  The mechanical voice claimed to be from Wells Fargo on my Visa account.  She said my account had been locked for security reasons.  She said to press 1 if I wanted my account reactivated.  I did press 1, but when she asked for my 16 digit account number, I just hung up and called my bank.  The bank said that people had been getting these fraudulant calls for about three weeks and reminded me that the bank will NEVER as for your account number.  I reported this 701-509-8703 number to them.

Wish these dopes would spend as much time and effort doing something positive as crooked.  The world would be a better place.

I received call while phone separated from me for a short period.  No voice mail msg left but spouse ALSO received call that said his bank debit card was "frozen".  Pressing #'s requested to reactivate. SCAM #.  Suggest pressi g nothing & giving NO information to "helpful agents".

Received a call @ 1:29 am to my cell phone. Didn't answer. Don't know anyone from N. Dakota. Not quite sure how they got my number. I don't use it for any purpose that might sell phone #'s. I must have slipped up somewhere. Not my first call from this #. Thanks to the comments on this page from the first time I got the call I knew not to answer.  #701-509-8703

We have been receiving a few of these phone calls saying they are from wells fargo and that there has been a block on our debit card.  If we would like to reactivate enter our 16 digit card #.  I have called wells fargo twice about this but they will do nothing!  They are as much of a scam as this call.

Who would or could do anything about this?

I fell for it, didn't connect the dots until later in the evening when I noticed that my debit card had been used in Chandler Arizona (one of the Circle K gas stations there) to pull out $300. Wells Fargo didn't really care to investigate (didn't even want the phone number) but I should get my money back from them. Still sucks having to change any recurring charges.

Received numerous calls from this # and they claim to be Wells Fargo Bank telling me that my debit card was stolen.  I don't bank with Wells Fargo and never have.

Don't know who this; left no message. Will not accept nor return calls from unknown persons or blocked caller IDs.  This number comes up as a cell phone number. If they were legit, they would have left a message.

Received a call from this number tonight. An automated voice I needed to update my Bank of America account information. I pressed "1" to continue and it asked me to enter my credit card number. I hung up of course. As many others have stated this is obviously criminal activity.

Numerous calls from this number to our phones... yes phones.  We just hang up because this is a scam.

Received a call at 1 am in the morning.  Did not answer and they did not leave a message.
