Want the calls to stop, that government do-not call list isn't worth a crap

Scum ball telemarketers.  Claim they are calling from "our" local finance center - NOT - they are calling from an area code that is thousands of miles away.  Say they are here to find "GRANTS" for local business from private and commercial funders....JOKERS...that is what they are.  To all telemarketers everywhere...go to hell and don't come back!  Thank you!

I've got 2 calls from this number today - at 1:20 PM and again at 1:40 PM PDT...

The 701 area code is in North Dakota, but these [***] might very well be spoofing, and as such they could be anywhere - some posters seem to think Canada. That may or may not be valid...

As to just who these [***] are is anybody's guess...

Like a lot of posters here, I'm getting totally fed-up with them!!

Thanks goodness for caller ID - when I see the number I don't answer...

Want to have some fun when they call? If you get a live person, string them along for a moment or so, then get a police whisle and blow it loudly into the phone! That's sure to make their day! HA HA HA!

I did that with one pain in the xxx caller recently, and they've not called back since - it's been about a month and a half ago...

So much for the Do Not Call registry...

Called by this number several times this week.  Didn't pick up.  So much for being on the do not call list

A recorded message "This is Sam from Air Duct Cleaning......."
This is not the first time they have phoned.

My dad used to use an air horn for nuisance calls about 15 years ago.  Worked like a charm.  The word must have spread too (after a few busted ear drums) because after about two weeks of blasting he no longer received ANY nuisance calls.  Much better solution than the do not call list because the list does not apply to VOIP calls

I get a call from this number once or twice a week. Something about air duct cleaning, ive tried the call back and pressing 1 and still get calls. I tried talking to someone in person which they just hung up on me. Today i set up an appt. using a fake address just to watse there time for bugging me. Next time ill set up another appt. and asked for a # incase i need to cancel, if they give me one ill post it so you all can call them and harrass them back.

Two calls in a row from "Savings Center" - no message.  Calling back gets you a recorded message.  So aggravating.

Telemarketer - they called and I didn't answer.  Sure enough a message regarding air duct services.  They do offer a "press 8" to be removed from the list.  I've gotten several calls from this company or one just like it -- lucky me!!!

701-625-5003 SAVING CENTER called my Los Angeles residence at 8:10 PM on May 3. We ignored it and no message left.

Just got one here in California,,,Can't this number be tracked and shut down?  Somebody pays this phone bill--Just asking..

They must be branching out.  We're in Southern California.  Caller ID said "Saving Center"

Just got a call from 701-625-5003 with a recorded message about cleaning my air ducts. Maybe some wood chips got stuck in there. The Caller ID shows from "Saving Center" but I've received other calls from this same name only a different phone #. Press 8 to be removed (like that will help).

I have all my numbers on it but still get these annoying sales calls.

I live in Los Angeles and got a call from this number. Didn't answer it, and they didn't leave a message.

FACT 1 - the DNC list CLEARLY does not work!  Everyone knows this...or should know this!
FACT 2 - filing a complaint with the FCC does not work!  A total waste of time.  Done that.
FACT 3 - having an unlisted phone will not help you.
FACT 4 - asking/begging telemarketers to take you off their call list – you’ll get laughed at!
FACT 5 - no "class action" suits are filed and certainly, not LITIGATED.   Some of these telemarketers are in other countries and out of the jurisdiction of the USA.

Call blocking phones are very inexpensive $40-$60 and they come with, at least, one wireless handset.  Very, very convenient.

Uniden and Panasonic make CALL BLOCKING telephones.  They’re cheap - $40-$60 and they usually come with a 2nd. wireless handset.  COSTCO & AMAZON SELL THEM.  
They work beautifully!  These phones also block “PRIVATE”, “OUT OF AREA” and "UNKNOWN" calls!!!
I have had the same home number and the same business phone number for over 15 years and my home and my business lines (both published) seem to be on every imaginable call list.  I bought a Panasonic call blocking phone for my home and I bought a Uniden call blocking telephone for my business.
NO MORE PROBLEMS WITH TELEMARKETERS.  THEY CAN’T GET THROUGH!
We can stop these telemarketers IF we all buy a call blocking phone.

The DNC list works well against legitimate, honest telemarketers.  I haven't gotten a call from Olan Mills photography or from any Time Share salespeople since the list started.  My city is the armpit of legitimate telemarketing.  Several firms have closed due to lack of business.

The DNC law does not apply to charities, even the ones that use 99% of every donation for fund raising.  It does not apply to politicians.  Those calls have not stopped.  Scammers are planning to steal from you.  Breaking one more law doesn't even slow them down.  

I went cell-only a number of years ago.  My cell phone number is on the DNC list.  I do not give out the number.  On the rare occasion I have to give someone a phone number  I give them the number for my work pager.  I haven't gotten a telemarketing call in several years.  

When I was being hounded by bill collectors looking for Michael the Deadbeat I assigned them the ring tone "no ring".  Its free.

Same as everybody it - phone rand, no one there  - a real nusiance
