I got one of these annoying messages too. I'm also on the Do Not Call list. How do we press charges against this scam artist?

It was "consumer debt solutions" or so she said.  these people have called us from Montana 406-623-3003, New York 212-212-2112 and South Dakota 701-625-5003.

How do you make them stop?

It's Consumer Debt Advocate.  Pressing '2' as instructed by the recording doesn't get you taken off the call list.   They've also used these numbers:

They've got different at least two websites and different 800 numbers at each site, but it's the only way you'll get a real person.

Maybe if enough people tie up their lines complaining, they'll get the clue

They left a v-mail for me regarding grant money for small businesses.

This number just called me. No voice on the other end.

Some kind of credit/debt solution scam.  Computer dialed, automated voice.

Possible scammer. Looks like they are directed toward Canadians using Fido.

received a call from 701-625-5003 about resolving credit issues, selected to speak to someone *1* and spoke to Tiffany, who said they do not give out there last name. I said I am on a National Do Not Call List and would be reporting this with the NDNC Registry, and to the phone carrier when I back trace them. I believe Phone Carriers that hide the identity of these scammers need to have a class action suit against them for colaborating the fraud. They allow it, hide them behind throw away cell phones and refuse to take action when complaints are made. Here is another day wasted, tracking down these criminals and the errand phone carriers that are co-conspirators in the fraud. I don't have credit cards, or issues with credit, It was a random telemarketer call directed at Canadians from North Dakota, another SCAM that US Telephone Carriers promote and allow to continue..

I too got a phone call from 701-625-5003.  Caller hung up.  We too are on the National Do Not Call List.

I suggest you buy an airhorn of some description and when you get one of these calls, do whatever you have to do to get in touch with a live person; when they come on the line, blast the airhorn into the phone and hang up.  If this spreads across the continent we will be able to identify the people who work for the companies that make these calls by their hearing loss in one ear.  We can then beat them to death.  

It might also be advisable to invest in hearing aid stock at the same time.

I had a call today from this number. No message left. Maybe a sales "scam"?

Saint John, NB  --- just got this one too.  Didn't answer it.

Timberlea, NS - This is the first I've seen of this number.  They left a dead air voicemail.

I also got a call from this number, again nobody was there. I'm in New Brunswick, Canada

We also got calls from this # .. BOGUS i'm sure... Friday Dec. 3rd 6:30 pm. ... Cape Breton.....

Just recieved three calls from this number in the last HOUR! I pick up on the third call and there was nothing but silence. But I did hear people in the background coughing. I screamed at them to never call me again and hung up. I'm in NY.

There was a call to my home on PEI at 4 p.m. Atlantic Time. I was busy working and so did not answer - no voicemai message was left.

You'll need the name of the company, the phone number, and the person you spoke to.
Report them.  If the calls continue, report them and follow up with you Member of Parliament.

They hung up on us.

Received a call from this number and no message...it was after hours as well...Don't know anyone in North Dakota. I'm in Newfoundland.
