Hey Scott, did this actually work for you?   I'm sick of receiving these calls and would like to return the favor

I wish you would do a little research before making such a post.

NovaTel ASP, Ltd. is NOT a Call Center.  True NovaTel ASP provides services to call centers, but it is NOT a call center.

I know others have identified NovaTel ASP as a problematic company, which we take very seriously.  As a provider to the industry, we have been very successful in locating the call centers who are providing the services and having the number's put on the individual call center's Do Not Call List.

Just for clarification sake, I can assure you that since we began operation in 2006, only one complaint has actually come from one of our customers.  You couldn't determine that by looking at the Internet, but it is true.  

The nature of these calls may not even be from a call center?  We are investigating along with our list of service providers in the industry.  These calls from 701-625-5163 are different than most of the other complaints.  However, be assured we are using all of our resources that we have used in the past to find the culprit of these abuses...

The first called from 480 seem to be located in Arizona somewhere, This number however with the 701 area code is located in Martin, ND.

Also received a call from 701-625-5758 on March 17th, then this call yesterday.  I don't know anyone from North Dakota

I keep receiving calls like this on my cell phone usually 3 or 4 times per day.  I checked the Do Not Call List for my state and the only way you can't be called is on your residential phone...they can still call you on your cell phone!  When I try to call these numbers back it tells me it's a non-working number; if that's the case, how in the hell are they able to call me!

I agree, although I have to tell you complaining to your senator or congressman is worthless.  I did complain to all of them and all I got was a "personal" letter along with a document detailing the law about telemarketing.  Like I didn't know.  Just keep complaining.  Maybe one of these days, they'll finally get into trouble

STOP! I mean STOP calling.

I get these calls all day long. Seem to come from 3 or 4 different area codes.
They start at 800am and run through 900pm I did get one around 400am one time
Since they won't take my number off their list I waste their time when they call
Ask them to repeat the message, then say no the other part waste their time, then when they ask for your name say its Lenny Ballsack, get everyone to use this name when they call.
Then string them along asking them to repeat when they ask what your doing tell them wasting their time since they won't stop calling. Hanging up on them doesn't stop them so lets waste their time.

My phone number is on the National Do Not Call Registry and I still received a call from this number.

I have received calls from this number numerous times, I answer and get connected to a person and then tell the person stop calling, then they hang up with out a word. I have even threatened to contact the FTC to no avail. How do I make them stop calling mu work cell?

I got a call from this number they left no message for me either. I don't understand what the purpose is? When someone answers why do they hang up after getting just a first name?? Doesn't make any sense.

These people keep calling ... only to hang up when I answer.  Tell you what FIXED THIS for me: PhonePower.com.  They have a feature called "Block" that blocks -- forever more -- the caller from ever calling me again.  Extremely nice feature!

Their call arrived while I was on another call.  All I got was a beep in my ear.  When I later checked who called it turned out to be these guys.  Must be billions of dollars in bugging consumers, some of whom credulously accept cold calls from people who are probably out to do no good except for themselves.

This is a professional lead generation service.  They have a multitude of numbers on VOIP auto dialers and will not care about the Do Not Call list.  They don't honor it and they don't take you off their list.  They just call from different numbers.  I know this because I stay on the phone and get the caller to give me information about who they are, etc.  I usually get the info from the company they forward the call to as a "verified lead" that the end company pays them for.  These bottom feeders will continue until the FCC actually does something about them.  Keep reporting them!

you have got to beat them at their own game. I pretended I was interested and got as far as a supervisor, took about 20 min with false info. I then politely asked him for his info and if he was having financial troubles he then hung up
