I got a call from a guy at 701-661-1006 asking if I would be interested in a free wireless alarm system if I put a sign in my yard. I told him nicely I wasn't interested and he got pushy so I told him I wasn't giving him my personal information and to have a nice day, and hung up on him. Today I got two calls from this number, 701-625-5444. I was wondering if they were related.

Calls all this week and I have no idea who it is or why.

A person at this number keeps calling and bothering me but not leaving a message.

Called 701-625-5444 and they offered to remove and place on "Do not call" list by pressing 1. Hope that works.

Do not call list keep getting unsolicited calls no message left block all unwanted numbers

I recieved a call from this number while I was away today.  They did not leave a message.  But the name on my caller ID says OTO Group.  Looked up OTO Group on the internet and they are some sort of marketing research company. If they call again they will be going on my blocked list.  I am also on the Do not call regisistry, but still that doesn't stop all of these places from calling.

I have also been getting repeat calls from 7016255444.  I called 213-825-1100 as suggested by a post from a user on this site.  This number has just given me a busy signal.  I also have my numbers registered in the NATIONAL DO NOT CALL REGISTRY at www.donotcall.gov.  You can report a telemarketer there and I have done so.  If you google 7016255444 you will find 1000's of people are complaining about this number.  I am concerned about the effectiveness of the National Do Not Call Registry.

I got the same alarm system pitch.  I would get a free alarm system if I listened to a sales presentation and put a sign in the yard.  I am on the DNC registry so I reported this call as a violation.

I got one call. Caller ID says "OTO GROUP." The caller introduced himself and was live. He wanted to tell me about... something or other. I interrupted him with his name and he the repeated everything I said back to me. Very irritating. I told him to never call again and hung up. I wrote up a complaint on donotcall.gov.

I too have been getting "Free Offers" to come evaluate my home alarm system. The calls come from 701-625-5444. I am on the Do Not Call list as well, and I'm unable to reach anyone when calling back to the number displayed.

I believe they are cold calling to see if homes are protected. We all know why they'd like to know that information. They said they are representing ADT

If you don't answer the phone when this number calls you and then call the number back.  The number that was on my Caller ID was 701-625-5444.  You will get an automated voice that says "Thank you for calling us back, if you would like to be placed on the do not call list for furture promotions, please press 1".  I did that and haven't had any more calls from them.  Remember that doesn't place you on the National do not call list, but it will keep that company of telemarketers from calling you, or so I hope.

I dont know who this is and wish that they would stop calling.

Yes I have received calls from the number, at least once a day.  Never leaves a message.

You may be interested in reading a news release this office issued in May 2010, warning about scam telephone calls using spoofed North Dakota (701 area code) telephone numbers, at http://www.ag.nd.gov/NewsReleases/2010/05-25-10A.pdf. Since then, we have received reports from across the country of other scams using spoofed ND phone numbers.

Unfortunately, scam artists ignore state and federal laws, which is why the Do Not Call registry is not preventing these calls.

I love my Panasonic phone. I just save numbers like this to the block list. Done!

this number has been calling me too - 2 calls so far today, 1 yesterday, 1 wednesday, 1 monday!!
I haven't answered any of them.

This number calls me multiple times a day, every day!   I am so tired of it, and when I look it up it says its a cell phone...
