Recieved call from 701-920-9511, person asked for husband by name. I asked who was calling, they didn't say but wanted to know if he was still checking blood sugar every day, if so they were going to send a new kind of monitor. I told them my husband was not diabetic and hung up!

Answered the phone and heard someone mumble a few words and then they hung up.  Last week my husband got a call from someone wanting to send him diabetes supplies.  He is not diabetic.
From reading the other replys, it must have been from this same number.

My friend got a call about dibetic supplies. It may be a ripoff where they send you supplies and bill you more than they should, or it may be involved with medicare fraud.

If you are not on the National Do Not Call list, you should be. Then you can report calls like this and they WILL shut them down. I used to get all kinds of calls until I started reporting them to the Federal Trade Comission. It's one thing in government that works for me. :-)

Report all suspecious calls to the FTC at 888-382-1222. Answer a few automated questions and you are done. This really, really does work to slow and then stop unwated and scam calls.

Reportedly a national diabetic polling company....asked for me by name....asked if anyone in my family had diabetes.  I said no....she hung up before I could ask to be removed.  Idiots......Above phone number was a code of v031801065220855

Got a call yesterday.  Didn't answer but the recording said my name and then hello, hello with what seemed to be a Latino accent.  Prior to any speaking there was a lot of background noise, kids squawking etc.

You can block 12 calls with Charter. I have 11 on my list now. Call them back.

You can block 20 numbers with verizon's Call Intercept service, plus unknown, unavailable and private numbers.

I received a call today from a heavily accented person asking if anyone in the home was a diabetic.  No one is, but I had just recently answered an ad for a free monitor, just to check mine.  This monitor is Freestyle Lite and I feel it generated this call.  I have Panasonic phones that have the ability to block calls.....BLOCKED!!

This call center makes calls (disguised as medical supply solicitations) to check phone numbers, verify who lives there, and find out if you are at home.  You will find calls at random hours, even later in the evening.  If you are receiving these calls, there has likely been a summons issued to be served or court document needing a signature.  When they get someone at home, the process server is notified, but are often unable to come straight away... they often use the records to help them figure out the best time to find you at home.

Contrary to "Bubbs" response, my homework shows this to be a "cellular" number.

My information shows the following:

The number is registered in Center (Oliver) North Dakota
Service provider shows as Nextel Communications Inc

I am HIGHLY doubtful that a "court process server'' would use a cell phone, or that a Medical supply company would either.

Well, c12347, you've clearly never heard of spoofing before, ... and anyone who gets these calls can tell they are coming from a busy call center where all employees are speaking with an Indian accent.  

But you don't have to take my word for it.

And I did not say it was a process server calling, I said it is a call center service that is used by process servers.  

Spoofing is par-for-the-course for these call services.  You are right about one thing though - it is a "scam" in the sense that they are not actually offering medical supplies.

As an FYI they can also spoof their area code. Received numerous calls from these people. they actually used the same area code as my number. clever buggers. Watch out for the (???) 920-9511.

This is the same SCAM company calling ALL OVER THE COUNTRY with a bunch of RIP OFF programs.   These morons are pushing everything from Tax Debt Relief (...do you owe the IRS over $10 thousand dollars in back taxes...) to overpriced Diabetic Supplies and EVERYTHING in between.
