Oops, they hang up, not hand up....sorry

my mom called me from her cell today and this number is what showed up on the caller id instead of hers and now she has all sorts of charges on her bank acct. Does anyone know of this number being involved with any identity theft situations in the past?

I got a call tonight but didn't answer it.  Since some of the numbers are so old I'm wondering if it had anything to do with the recent data theft at Epsilon.  They got my email and name and have been sending porn emails to my address book.  They could have gotten my phone number as well.  I did not call the number back.

I forgot to mention that they used an email address that was many years old so obviously Epislon keeps ALL your email addresses with no law saying they have to be removed after a period of time.  They are fed these emails from credit card companies, etc.

Two Calls.  Say they're from Diabetic Association, want to know  if we're still living with diabetes in the family.    I tell them I don't talk to people I don't know and to remove my number from their list.  I think they're scammers.

This number was on the caller ID and the name RESET.  Strange sounding voice with accent said "Hello" several times.  Lots of background noise. Sounded like a very busy office or a noisy household with kids.

Had someone come to the police station to report this number calling and asking for personal info including if he had a medicare card and the number, his birthday, etc. It was an elderly male.

Just got a call from this number (CT) and they didn't leave a message.  No idea who called or what it was about.

Caller ID reported "Reset".  We didn't answer.

Reporting these illegal robo-calls to the FCC, the BBB, or to notify the Do Not Call list of their violation does absolutely NOTHING. The government will do NOTHING to catch these scumbags because it's not in their best interests, apparently. I have filled out paperwork for FIVE YEARS, until I'm blue in the face, and I still get unsolicited calls. The FCC responded to my concerns by advising me to fill out a THIRTY-TWO page report! The Do Not Call list is a sham especially since politicians, and non-profit organizations have been exempted. In my opinion, Do Not Call, means just that, with NO exceptions.

Bottom line: Don't expect those who wrote the laws to enforce them.

I received 2 today from this number and they are saying something about diabetics.  I hung up on 2 today.

Read my comment above. I have been dealing with these telemarketers for years and have dutifully submitted complaints to any entity that offered. NOTHING is done and never will Don't waste your time filling out redundant paperwork. Just hang up and forget about it.

The Do Not Call list is useless and even though a number of businesses honor your wishes, there are just as many who don't. The law will not protect you from these predators; the easiest thing to do is hang up and forget about it.

I don't answer this number because of the complaints regestered and because of the caller ID -- VO41810093009386 - come on. No way this is legit.

This Phone number comes out of North Dakota. Never answer any call that you do not know who it is. Then unplug your phon from line for 1 min, then plug back in. Resets Phone taps.  ;-)

Received call from number. Caller ID listed Number and Name was only listed as RESET.
Remember, if you don't recognize the caller or Number, NEVER! give out any personal information.
Be sure to tell family, especially your elderly family to never give out personal information. Regardless of what they might be told by the caller.

They called and wanted to make sure we were getting the most up to date diabetic supplies.  I said we were doing fine with supplies.  They then wanted my medicare  claim number to see if I qualified for their program so when a person called me back they would be able to tell me if I qualified or not.  
 Well that is my social security number so I said I wasn't giving them that.  They then didn't seem too interested in talking to me.  I looked up the company they said they were from-  Diabetes  Network USA-
and I couldn't find anything about them so I'm thinking it is a scam.   Just HANG UP on them.  

They are very hard to understand--do not speak English very well.
