I was asked if anyone in the house was diabetic, said no.  They called again the next morning 4/30/11, and I didn't answer.

I see that these guys are active and persistent.  I've been called 4 times in 3 days.  The last time I answered but they did not reply.  Today I called their number and followed their "press 1" to be dropped from their calling list.  Next time they call the FTC will hear from me.

I appreciated reading the other comments about (702) 920-9511 and feel obligated to offer my own. They apparently have some list of people who have used diabetes supplies and when calling knew my name.  They asked if I was diabetic and I ignored the question and told them my phone number was on the do-not-call list and what is the purpose of the call?  They hung up, but have been calling 2 or 3 times a day for the past 3 days and leave no message.  I've called their number and got the automated system to remove my number.  I doubt that will work, but we all need to complain loud and often wherever possible.  Caller CID says V04301539461015

    Sleeper Interrupted
Caller woke me up, asked if I was Ms. XXXXX. which was my mother's maiden name.  Mother's been dead for over 30 years.  When I said 'No', kept talking anyway.  Could barely speak english, had to repeat frequently for me to understand.  Said her name was 'Daphne'.  Wanted to know if I had any outstanding payday loans, online loans, internet loans...  I stopped her right there and told her my finances were no one else's business, she said "I'm calling from 'Road to Recovery'.  We've helped thousands of people to get their finances straightened out and their loans taken care of, so they can avoid getting bad credit."  I told her that I didn't have anything she or her company needed to know about, and told her I am on the DNC list.  She said she'd make note of it and started to rattle on about something else.  I told her don't ever call here again, and hung up.

Yeah, right.  I bet she'll make note of it...

Called, asked for a name that is not mine, nor the name of anyone that I know.  They have been calling for about a year now from different phone numbers but they always ask for the same, incorrect name.

At first, I was very polite, thinking they simply had the wrong number but then the calls become more frequent and more persistent.  I became a little more abrupt and told them I was not the person they were calling for and could they please remove me from their list.

Obviously, this didn't happen, and now, when they call I am so absolutely rude, I shock myself with how much of a potty-mouth I actually can muster.  I ask them all sorts of things I would NEVER say to anyone in public and these conversations always end with them hanging-up in roughly 20 seconds after their call initiates!

The two tip-offs that let me know they are calling are: Its always from a number and area code that wouldn't usually call, but the second, more important one, is that they always ask for the incorrect name and THAT sends me into [***] mode!  Its quite stress relieving and sort of fun in a way, especially knowing this persona is not even close to my real personality.

Once they called while my wife and daughter were present.  SAD!!  I simply had to ignore the call.

this group appears to be a scam.  Have found them identified with at least three phone numbers.  877-506-9633.  559-302-9128 and 701-920-9511.  There are two websites that we have found so far.  The Inglewood address is not valid.  The Inglewood Corporation was suspended by the State of California.

Check complaints against the other three numbers.  All are saying the same thing.

Our telephone company is recommending that you file a police report against them.  American Diabetes Association has filed a disclaimer of affiliation with this group after receiving numerous complaints regarding the unwelcome calls.

They got our number after my husband clicked on an ad on Facebook which promised free coins for a game he was playing.  They have been calling ever since on a daily basis and sometimes have called more than once in the same day and this has been going on now for the past three months.  The earliest call came last Saturday at 7:00 A.M.

Keep a log of when they call and the name of the individual who called.  Tell them not to call back each time they call.  Check your local laws regarding elder abuse and harassment.  If the person they are calling is elderly, they may be violating those laws and can be reported to the police for same.
