Got my call just now - they had my last name and nothing else, but they were looking to see if we needed "Diabetic Supplies" and was I a diabetic.

Probably part of another long list of scams that these crooks are running, I get calls from these same goons trying to get you to sign up for "tax debt relief", "mortgage modification", "credit card interest reduction", credit card debt reduction", "car payment reduction" and now "diabetic supplies".

All these fools do is call all over the country to random phone numbers with their auto dialer and try and get you to "sign up" with them for one of these scam services - then they get access to your debit card or checking account or credit card and suck you dry with these fake programs - then when the money is gone, or they get too close to being caught, they close up shop and move on to the next sucker.

If they get you on the debt relief program, you can GUARANTEE that they will try and take you for OVER $4 GRAND.  -and that's just for starters.

Be sure to ALWAYS file the complaint form at FTC.GOV each and EVERY time these baboons call you from their tiny cubicle.  It's the only way to ensure that that they will be caught and prosecuted.

Got a call about a free diabetic meter but would not tell me what co he represented nor who made the meter. Combined with a thick Jamaican accent and a thicker one from the supervisor I aborted the call. I think if they are going to try to con me, they need to know more about me and at least speak understandable ENGLISH!!!!

Got a call from number but did not answer and they left no message.  Read the other posts and realized it was a scam number.

received call from this number, it rang and no one was there.  Glad I checked this site.

We received a call from 701-920-9511 identified as a "cellular call" just before 10 a.m. on 3/30/2011.

Area Code 701 covers all of North Dakota, but the woman caller had a heavy accent and there were a lot of sounds in the background -- like a busy call center -- so the number is probably spoofed.

She asked for an unrecognizable name and then our name (both times I played dumb) and then said she was from the "Diabetic Care Group."  I stopped her and asked if they had a do not call list and she actually apologized multiple times and couldn't get off the phone quickly enough.

Never give unsolicited callers any information.  None.  Simply tell them you want to be added to their do not call list and then report them to the FTC.

The call came through with this on the caller ID on my phone, "v03301616100910" and I have no idea what the hell it's supposed to mean. That's about the weirdest thing to come through where the name is supposed to be.

Received a call from this number yesterday and today in early afternoon.  Did not answer, as did not recognize it on my caller ID.  There was a code listed on my Caller ID before the number.  The code was  V040117053108996.

called to tell me about diabetes testing equipment and I told them I did not have insurance, medicaid, or medecare and they hung up.

This no. keeps calling me.  Trying to send me diabetic supplies.  I am not a diabetic.  This is annoying and I have asked them not to call me......hope you can do something.  Thank you.

I received a call from this number which I didn't answer (showed up on my caller id) and did not call the number back.  After reading these posts, sure glad I didn't!

What's with the 'do not call list' unless it is 'automated dialing', which I am sure it is!

Haven't answered these calls which have been calling about twice a day for the last week, but caller I.D. comes up as "cellular call", which is reason enough not to pick up an unfamiliar number!  Besides, I use my cell number for most personal and business calls, so landline calls are usually telemarketers anyway.  They don't leave any messages on my answering machine.

I suspect that some health insurance company in the past has rented out its list of diabetic people, as we do have a family member with diabetes.

This number has been calling me on my cellphone in maine the past few days. Doesn't leave a message.

got a call from this # about 8:00 a.m. on my home phone. did not answer and after reading the posts never will but will report to my state attorney general consumer protection unit.

My husband just got my call asking for me. Would not give a name or number but since he has caller id on his cell it came up.  Would not tell him what they wanted so he told them I was unavailable.

We received a call asking about Diabetes in the family.

They should be fined for calling a number on the do not call list.

We get 2-3 calls per day starting at 7 a.m. and going up until 9 p.m.  When you work 3rd shift it is VERY annoying and ridiculous.  Nobody answers and when the machine answers nobody leaves a message.  Stop the nonsense!

My mother got a call from this number. They asked if she is diabetic. When she said "NO", they hung up.

Woman told me they had information "from a doctor" that someone in our family had just recently been diagnosed as diabetic. I asked them how they would be privy to such private and personal info. She started into her diabetic supplies speil, and I stopped her and told her nobody in our house was diabetic. She hung up.

We keep getting calls from this number, ask if this is So and So (my hubby's name) he says yes and they hand up.
Also lots of calls form Senior Care.
They are calls regarding diabetes also. So now this makes sense as several say the 701 920 9511 is dealing with diabetes.
Oh, no one in our family has diabetes.
I did tell Senior Care to take us off the list. Then we get a call from Unknown the 701 number.
So irritating..............
