It's Summit Receiveables.  They are looking for someone who doesn't  live here or in this state. They call several times a day event hough they have been told not to call. Rude. Called my daughter names.

Send them a cease and desist letter by certified, return receipt mail, and file complaints against their criminal activities.

Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt.  It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes.  The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.

So these guys are scammers???

I received multiple calls from this number today. My old boss also received a call from them on his cell phone!! When I called them back they were so rude and claimed I owed money with a company called Quick Cash. I owe $3,835.69. I did research on the phone number and a lot of complaints from them were received. I don't know what else to do. Every person I talked to was so rude. They told me this was on my credit report and when I looked at it there isn't anything there. They say it should be or maybe it hasn't been filed yet. I don't understand and I just want this all to go away.
