They called my cell phone 5 times about 25 minutes apart today, between 10am & 12pm. My cell is also my alarm clock so I can't move it off my nightstand and I work graveyard, so you can imagine how well that goes over. A friend just told me to push "1" so they answer, and then push and hold one of the number buttons so that it screams in their ear until they hang up. This is just to make you feel better so you can go back to sleep, instead of lying there being all pissed off. :)

It really doesn't matter what any of us do for these spam callers.  I am on the do not call list....by the way it is a complete joke.  I have re registered, and send complaints numerous times a day.  The only thing I have noticed is that I seem to get even more calls.  The federal government meant well when this was first started, now, I don't think anyone looks at or cares about any of the complaints.  I have never heard back from the government about any of my complaints.  My best suggestion, is a change your cell number, and don't give that number out to anyone.  I also have not updated my new number to any company I do business with...ie credit cards  etc.  That is where your number gets sold, or stolen.

Okay everyone here's the scoop that I've come up with after digging around the internet. The 702-705-5221 number is from a company called "Silver Strand Enterprises, LLC out of Las Vegas. They are, in turn, attached to a "20/20 Enterprise 2705 B Durfee Avenue, El Monte, CA. That is attached to a Thomas Luczak at 29009 Silver Creek Rd. Agoura, CA 91301. He is a real Estate investor and his company changes phone numbers almost monthly.

This is what I have done and what we ALL need to-

1st- file a complaint with the Feds at https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint
2nd- contact the Nevada and California Attorney Generals offices and ask for them to follow up and to file charges. (whether they will or not is questionable)
3rd- post all this information EVERYWHERE you can on the internet
4th- send "nice and polite" letters to both addresses stating you are on the Federal No Call List and that you have filed compaints with the Feds and request that this company and ALL subsidiaries permanently and immediately remove your number. Make sure it is a nice letter with no threats and do NOT include your name or return address ONLY the phone number being called.

I keep getting calls from these people after pushing 2 to get off of their call list long ago. I finally pushed 1 to speak to someone and asked the operator the name of the company and she hung up on me, stupid b*tCH!
I've filed many, many complaints on the national do not call registry and it's done no good.

Call Carol---623-643-3099-she is the MGR of Discover Bank-branch out of New Castle Delaware, and demand she put you thru to DIANE in the Pheonix AZ location, or call  800-347-2683, tell them you would like a message sent to-------BVANDE6----this is DIANE's DIRECT line as close as you can get. DO NOT disclose your name or ANY other info to WHO you are, ONLY to remove YOUR # from their systems immediately and PERMANENTLY, ALSO, tell them WHEN YOU ARE DONE, that YOU ARE AWARE THAT THIS CALL IS BEING RECORDED, AND THAT YOU ARE ALERTING THEM TO THIS FACT, AND THAT YOU ARE CALLING THE FCC RIGHT NOW, AND WILL HAVE IT LOGGED IN THEIR DATABASE OF YOU CALLING THEM, AND YOU HAVING IT ON RECORDING THAT YOU DID!! so that when they go to deny it, YOU used THEIR own system against them, and you are utilizing it to tell the fcc so that they may have the recording, WHEN SUBPENAED, it will show legally that you have done so, and it blows up in their face utilizing the DISCOVER recording system, which they MUST keep ALL files, paper or otherwise, for at least 3 years, then release the call, saying nothing more

They change their phone number monthly because, as a start-up, they can ignore the "Do Not Call" registry for 31 days.

Received a phone call from this number. No message left

Got a call on 10-31-2011. Usually when i want to speak to someone they hang up on me, this time a woman answered the phone and after telling her to quit calling, and asking to speak to her supervisor she told me "Oh, Honey i am the supervisor." i told her that i have reported them to the fcc and she asked how that has worked out for me! She proceeded to tell me to enjoy continuing to receive the phone calls and have a Happy Halloween. I too have reported this to the FCC but they have done nothing.

Spend a $1.00 or $2.00 (at the Post Office [or online at www.usps.com ] )
and get "proof of delivery" when sending your "polite" letters!

If I had the time and resources I would personally travel to where ever these people are and put them permanetly out of business.

I gues you'd be nice to concentration camp guards too just doing their job.

I received two phonecalls from this number within 15 minutes of each other. I didn't answer because I'm at work and it is frustrating. I am also on the Do Not Call list. What's the deal? STOP CALLING.

Its upsetting to know that people like me do not have the time nor the energy to find you and actually do some thing illegal to you.

I got a call, but did not anser at about 12 noon.

Id said Las Vegas, no message left this is third call from a telemarketer since i was told I'd won a dialy prize on puvvlishers clearing house and got in on the site andstarted to give info they already had including phone number. got out of there now the calls.
