- ben S replies to BarbThe best I can suggest is what I have up with.
I have received calls on my cell phone for months. I finally came up with a solution that routs them to a no ring box.
After the first call I add them to my contacts like this.
1. I add the number for the name, Z 253 246 8552. (This puts them at the end of my contacts list)
2. then I set the ring tone to none. Since the call will be marked as missed it goes to the missed calls box
3. I set the missed calls box ring tone to none.
Now when they call back it just dies and I don't know about it till I look at my the next time. I just clear the calls and live life without them annoying me. - Ben SMy solution to their none stop calls

- AnneI get calls from this number once a month or so... each time it's for credit consolidation services, and each call states something about it being the last time they will attempt to reach me. When you call the number back, you just get a "fast busy" - never connects.
I called DISCOVER FINANCIAL SERVICES at 800-347-2683 as suggested in a previous post. They said that I must be a Discover Card holder (which I am not) or that my phone number is somehow linked to a Discover Card account. They also denied having any locations in Nevada. I insisted they remove my phone number from their database immediately. Only time will tell.
My number is registered on the National Do Not Call List - so how does this company (and others like them) get away with this?- Call type: Telemarketer
- rochellethis company call my home about times a month. most of time I hit 2 to be taken off the call list as I am on the no call list in the state of Missouri, this time I hit 1. I told to person (woman) "you are breaking the law by call me as I am on the no call list and never call my number again". she said "the was no such law in her state so she will call me as longs as they want". then she hung-up on me.
the recording states the call is about lower credit card bills.- Call type: Telemarketer
- karen| 1 replySomething about lowering credit card interest....
- Caller: not sure
- M.J. replies to BarbHave you telephone disconnected. That's the only way I know of. When they call I pick up the receiver and with a hand signal my 3 dogs begin to bark and don't stop until they are told to do so. Sometimes if I'm watching TV I'll let them listen too.
- whadahel replies to val rabcall it back then press #1 to stop calls
- Tanya replies to karenThey must have ADD. Karen, you got a call from them 7 hours ago, and waaaaaaaay back then, those long 7 hours ago, their business was lowering credit card interest. Now, for me, they're suddenly in the energy business, and want to be my energy supplier. Either these people are amazing workaholics with vast reaches in multiple fields due to their tireless work and ambition (sarcasm) or they don't ever actually provide any product or service, just try to get credit card numbers to scam, or personal info to steal ID.
- MicheleBThey called and I told them last week they had the wrong # and they still continue to call.

- MicheleBkeep getting calls from 702-705-5221. I've pressed "2" to be put on their "Do Not Call List" but that does no good! An hour later they end up calling back. I finally pressed "1" to speak to someone. Last Friday 11/25/2011, they said I will be put on the "Do not call list manually". On Monday, 11/27/2011 at approx. 9am and 10am, THEY CALLED AGAIN! I PRESSED "1" & TOLD the female who answered, I WILL REPORT THEM IN EVERY STATE! IS THERE ANY ONE OUT THERE THAT CAN TELL US HOW TO HAVE THIS TELEMARKETER STOP CALLING ME?

- sickofcallsI tried to stop harassing calls more than a decade ago and no longer try. I had the police and phone company in on how many calls I received what times they came in and what they wanted or if they left a message. I called the phone company every night for a month and the phone company at the end of the month sent the report to the police. All they did was say its a telemarketer. I said "no kidding?!!!! what are you going to do to stop the harassment. They said there is nothing that can be done. I wasted my time. These jerks that do this know that no one will do anything to stop them.
- Not true replies to johnSorry friend, but you are misinformed...they have what are known as auto-dialers. Their program randomly dials lists of numbers, once you answer the call is put through to you. That is why you rarely ever have them call you by your actual name...usually a "hello, my I speak to mr. john doe" So no matter how many times you change your number, pay to have it unlisted (as do I) or do not give it out, you will still get these calls. I do not know of one person who sits around and waits for these "monsters" to call or even accepts theirs offers, my best advice is to log each and every call, time, date, number and any other information you can obtain, even as far as playing along with their game, "oh yes, I am interested, please tell me your name, name of company, address and offers", add this to your log, then I would say after 30 days, if calls continue, take them to court,,,each and every violation is a fine of no less than $500.00. Phone records can also be obtained for your phone company as well for further evidence of this unsolicited molestation. Enough people follow through with this and these companies will be shut down.

- Atom&Yves| 1 replyAfter many calls from those jerks, and as many polite requests to be removed from their call list, I subscribed to my service provider's Selective Call Rejection service for $5 mo. Just got my Oct/Nov tel. bill, showing SCR was activated 19Oct. On 20Oct, between 12:07 PM and 2:03 PM (just under TWO HOURS!) those A$$holes called my number 68 TIMES! Thanks to SCR not one call came through and, subsequently, they've finally stopped trying. Also, I'm on the national Do Not Call Registry. So far (knock on wood) those people have been the ONLY ones to ignore it.
Caller ID also showed them calling from Compton, CA 310-599-9201.- Caller: Don't recall

- corey culverhousePlease stop calling my phone number unless you need to talk about something. Thank you
- JackHuman garbage is as human garbage does. These people are right down there with child molestors in my books.
