Yeah definitely a fake credit card scam. When I pressed 2 to not be bothered anymore,it just disconnected. The automated message never said they were actually a company. Very suspicious and like I said, it's prob fake.

I have reported these criminals time after time to the DNC Registry - no results.  I wrote an e-mail to 60 minutes and suggested they investigate the DNC Registry.  I don't think there is anyone there.

When I asked the "gentleman" to stop calling, he said he was going to call me every morning.

*sigh* I received a call from them at roughly 9:00 am this morning. From the looks of this, it doesn't look promising that they will remove my number from their "preferred customer" call list.

Called on my cell at 1:23 pm listed as "No Name" didn't leave a message. After reading other comments here I'm convinced that it's the same jerks that have been calling out of Michigan for the last several years or someone just as bad. I sure wish they'd catch the [***]

These brainless wonders must both be desperate and stupid beyond words. After 5 or so years of the same bs and pretty much everybody knows it's a scam!!! No one, by now especially, is going to fall for it and changing Caller ID but keeping the same bs spiel is NOT going to fool anybody.

One other thing, these moron's also used the same spoofed numbers as the lame home security system scam, loan modification scam and that assinine fake survey and 2 day bahamas cruise scam and quite a few others.  I've been logging each spoofed number they have used and many have wound up being used by the other scams! Good chance they are all the same bottom feeding jacka**es too!

Google Voice, TrapCall and other similar services are a good way to stop their illegal and harassing calls from ever reaching your phone. It won't ring once these, and other scamming trash are blacklisted!

The tip off/red flag was that it was a cell phone! Something these idiots have pretty much used all along.

Hardly something a legit business would use (certainly with as much as these wholes happen to use them). They have called kids on their cell phones (too young to have a cc), senior citizens on retirement and social security, businesses.

They really are lacking in gray matter!!!

This same number has called several times and I always disconnect as soon as I hear the opening pitch "We are calling about your credit card account"...........they do not  mention a specific credit card or company name.  Maybe the Nevada attorney general needs to be notified. That is the usual procedure.  I'm going to find out how to contact him and made the complaint. Lots of complaints from lots of people will get the ball rolling.

I've received calls from this number - 702-705-5278 - which checks out as a cell phone registered in Nevada, Noth Las Vegas - with no company identification - saying they are calling about my "credit card account"  and that it is urgent I call them back.  I have always diconnected when hearing this.  They have called several times over the last couple of months. I know it is a scam and I do not want to be bothered like this.

Have received numerous hang-up calls on voicemail from 702-705-5278.  Most recent call received on or about 12JUN2012.  Maybe if all of us could agree to call this same number on an exact date, and on their peak business hours, just MAYBE we could knock down their call-volume statistics for that day!!!

Neither calling Nevada's AG or calling this number back will work ... It's a spoofed number not an actual one. These non-human scumbags trying to scam us all are probably (and most likely) calling from somewhere else and using Caller ID spoofing to trick CID to display incorrect info like being from Nevada when it's not.

Still, more likely than not, they are using "throw-away"/disposable cell phones. All to make it hard to track or trace them! Clearly a strong indication it IS an illegal scam and they are out to get all the $$$ they can from us or worse other personal info to attempting ID theft!

Like with all the other (and especially other worst) offenders ... they always ask for CC number! ABSOLUTELY DO NOT GIVE OUT THAT OR ANY OTHER PWRSONAL INFORMATION OVER THE PHONE especially to total strangers who, like these scum, may well be seeking to scam you!

Just rec'd a call from this number.  I am so tired of this credit card services calling my home.  It's always a different number.

This number, claiming to be "your credit card company", calls as a recording, then when I press 1 to speak to someone, either the caller hangs up on me when I tell them to remove my number from their call list.
