Despite you thinking that because we post our number on places like Autotrader.  This does not give these soliciters to call.  Infact it is still illegal for them to call unless they are buying your vehicle.  There is the facts for you!

I think you should program your computer to call them all day.  After reading subsequent comments about them calling as a joke just to hang up....  I would love to set my computer up for a little pay back.

I received a call from this number twice in five minutes.  they did not leave a message.

Even though they get the info off of your ads on auto trader and craigslist does not mean they are doing something wrong! It is called using an email address. Any joe blow can call you whether it is USA Motor Sales, Auto Trader, One Stop Motors... You need to be smarter than the companies that call you! Hello lets not be stupid ppl!!! Come on! You can't place an ad on Autotrader without giving them your phone number! I tried to do this.  The phone number is a required field to place the ad.  I placed an ad on Autorader last night and have gotten two calls from this number already today.

These losers have called me repeatedly since I listed my car for sale. I've just called them back and when a live person answered, asked "can you help me sell this" and gave them a blast from my freon boat horn. I will do this until they stop bothering me and everyone will be able to recognise these scumbags by the blood oozing out their ears ;0)

I received a call today - Friday Aug 22, 2008, 2:52 PM - from the same  1-702-990-7883 number. I didn't pick up, but the voicemail was from this company trying to solicit my business. My phone number is already registered on the Do-Not-Call registry, so this company is probably breaking the law. And, yes, I registered a car for sale on AutoTrader yesterday. Perhaps as surprising as the fact that I got this uninvited solicitation is the fact that Autotrader doesn't seem to care one bit about this. I called 866-288-6872 -- the number for autotrader.com - and spoke with a customer "care" representative. I was shocked that AutoTrader.com representative didn't care one bit about this - she simply said that anyone can call a number and they can't control who calls. Really? I'm sure Autotrader's terms don't allow other companies to attempt to steal Autotrader's customers. In additon, this would clearly deter people from listing with Autotrader in the first place - if they knew they would get "spammed" with phone calls from other companies that aren't serious about buying a car. You would think that Autotrader would send a Cease & Desist order, but they apparently don't care.

They got my number from my ebay ad and called my cell phone. I hate them.

This must be stella or russ replying to all you people talking about there con artist company usamotorsales.com "4ru" right????.I almost fell into their scam until I did my research on them. $300.00 for a gold package and $500.00 for a diamond package for free websites you can post your self!!!WTF?!?!?!?!? THEN.... if you try to get you money back by disputing the descrepancy with your credit card company, I heard that they create a FAKE "posted ad". This way it fools your credit card company into thinking that an ad was "ACTUALLY POSTED". THIS IS RIDICULOUS!

I have been getting calls from this number as well after putting my vehicle on autotrader.com. I have also been receiving text messages that come up as four digit numbers saying "msg@etextvite.com / mark pollack / Hello, Contact me via this email (olafandrew_092@yahoo.com)if your vehicle is still available for sale" I Have received two of these text messages but the name will change, second name was Andrew olaf, email address was the same in both. I say if you can do it make a program and bug the crap out of them.....

I have been getting calls from this number TOOOOO!!!  after listing my vehicle on autotrader.com.

702-990-7883 called my cell on October 9, 2008.  I pressed 0 to get through to someone and the person who took my call said "how can I help you?"  And I said, "you called me, why don't you tell me."  He was fairly aggressive in the way he responded -- saying something about how we can do this the easy way or I can make it difficult and waste everyone's time.  He was a fairly nasty character who could care less about how he was coming across.  He explained a bit about the service his company provides (marketing the car nationwide, website, etc) and when I asked him how it works if someone requests a test drive he said "test drives are a 20th century concept."  I continued to ask questions and then he finally said "I'm done with this call" and hung up.  I listed my car on Craigslist, Cars.com and Carsoup.  I did not list on autotrader (unless they're affiliated with one of those other online sellers).

I attempted to navigate the P.O.S. FCC website and finally exited after my eyes began to hurt.  You can definitely tell that some computer nerd put that together.  What a joke.
