I put an ad for my motorcycle in Cycletrader and Craigs list. I have recieved several calls from this number since then

got a call from this nymber 702-990-7883, did not reply back or picked up the phone so no contact.

You are wrong. If your phone number is listed on the 'do not call list', it is against the law for companies to solicate. This company is not calling to buy a car, they are calling to solicate business.  My # is listed on the do not call list, what they are doing is illegal.

just got my first spam text today from it.  My vehicle is also on craigslist and autotrader.

They should have gotten our numbers off of Autotrader and affiliated sites because I do not list my phone number on craigslist.  I just got my cell a couple of weeks ago so I can't file a complaint yet.  I would have to be on donotcall list for 31 days.

These guys are loan brokers.  They claim to get your buyer financing more easily than they could on their own.  I told them to get me off their call list.  My car listed on autotrader last night and they have already called me two times from 702 953 3531 and 702 252 1496

Called me today at 12:30pm ET, recorded voice saying they could get me the best price on my car for sale. I had one hour earlier received a call from 702 257 1006 offering the same service. Both times I pressed the 9 button, per the instructions, to supposedly remove my name from their list.

Problem is, my car is not for sale, I had not posted my cell number on Auto Trader or anywhere on the internet, as some other posters had... so how did they get my cell number and why did they call me? Only thing I can think of is that I got an oil change a couple of days ago at an unfamiliar garage, they may have provided the number to God knows who? Annoying, makes me want to never answer a call without a familiar caller ID (these numbers that phoned me had none).

I rec'd about three calls from (702) 990-7883 within 48 hrs of putting my car on cars.com. They never speak- just keep calling.

I got the same call, but I did not answer.

I posted my car on ebay last night and already received two calls from this number.

These people also called me and I got 2 possible buyers in 3 weeks. I had my ad on craigslist for 2 months and did not get 1 call. I think their staff is great and they been helping every step of the way!

If your number is on the internet to advertise your car than anyone can call you.    This is not a bad company and it is better than onestopmotors.com or sellitnowmotors.com  or callingallcars.com who don't do anything but lie.    When you do advertise your phone number on the net anyone can call you.   If you ask for your number to be put on the do not call list they do have to do that.  Some of the others do lie and I don't think this company does.   By the way I'm not a owner of this company just a person who does know something about this type of business.

Same thing here.I put my RV on Ebay and the calls started the next day.

If I were a software engineer, I wouldn't think twice about programming my computer to call them!  I posted my car on Autotrader.com Saturday night.  This morning around 9 a.m. I get a call from "Allen" with "Longwood Industries" a "501c3 company".  I ignored the "Unknown Number" and listened to the voicemail.  I figured it was a scam so I googled the company.  Before I could finish typing the name of the company the drop down box was saying things relating to "Longwood Industries SCAM" etc.  Then, just now, I received a phone call from 702-990-7883.  I didn't answer it, because obviously I am not going to know where the number is from..... even if my car IS on autotrader.  Thanks for the information everyone!!

same deal - i am selling car and posted on craigslist and through the dallas morning news and thr their alliance with auto.com - have not explored but the number area code is from nevada and is related to helping me sell my car... I have had 3 calls total in the last 2 days from different numbers but all 702 area codes.

I realize that once you put your vehicle on the internet that you get phone calls. Here at USA Motor Sales we only call once and we do not send text messages or e-mail unless you speak to one of our represenatives and give them your information. Alot of people think that we are the only company with a 702 area code. We are not there are about 5 diffrent advertisment companies with the 702 area code.
