calls all day long, not leaving any messages, annoying!!!

Scam, alumni seeking money, I see the person above said Penn state, so they must be using the web to find out what college you went too.  They knew my college in Cailfornia, I said remove me, they still calling.  Nothing but a scam.

Fundraiser/telemarketer for Mary Bridge Children's Hospital/Tree House Foundation here in Tacoma WA. Two calls in less than a week. I answered the first time but ignored the second. The gal was a little overly assertive. I told her I give directly and will continue to do so. (A friend and his wife stayed at the Tree House while their preemie baby was hospitalized.) Telling them to take you off the list is worthless.

This must be where my number came from as well - I too donated to the Tree House.  Time to just block the number, I guess.  I hope MBCF wasn't the group that gave out my number, though.

Have been getting calls from 703-637-9245 more than twice a day for awhile and got fed up cuz of no messages and I tried to call....BLOCKED!  Gee!  So annoying cuz I listed my cell phone as unlisted about a year ago but why now?!?  

They are an outside group hired by your alma matter that wants you to join the alumni association.  In my case the University of Kentucky.  They are not a scam but the constant calling is annoying nonetheless.

called 4 times and i did not pick up, no one left a message. they called again today and i finally answered and they just hung up! i definitely don't think its Penn State....since i'm NOT an alumni from there

Get online and buy a call blocker!  It's a device that goes between the wall jack and your phone that identifies who is calling.   You plug your house phone into it.   If it's a number you don't know...or is UNKNOWN.... or PRIVATE... they still have a number and you can push a button on the call blocker to put them on a blacklist.  If they call again the phone rings once and cuts them off.  Most call blockers can store 150 or more numbers from telemarketers and other numbers that you don't want to mess with.  You can also block them on your cell phone by using whatever method your provider recommends or the phone can accommodate.   I love my call blocker!!!  I just got a call from the above number... the phone rang faintly once and that was it.    You only have to press the blacklist button once and that number stays blacklisted forever.  I think the call blocker I bought was around $80...and has been a lifesaver...worth every penny I spent on it!!!

Got a call from this number at 8:55pm. Didn't recognize it, googled it, and it took me here. If it's Penn State Alumni, I have no association with that school whatsoever. Hell, I have never been on the East Coast!

I'm guessing this caller is fundraising from my alma mater UC Berkeley, very irritating....no more donations from me!!!!

FSU alumni called me for donation from this number. Virginia number so maybe a legit call center?  Either way they charge enough for classes that I'm not interested.

This is a call center phone number.  The people that call you are employed by this company to solicit you for donations.  The company is contracted by the college you have graduated from.  Not sure if my college gave this company my phone number, but I'm seriously irritated that they keep calling at all hours of the night.

UCLA Alumni calling asking for money.  They figured out that no one answers when it is a 310 number anymore and are trying to trick us into answering.  

I have never gone to college so it can't be that, have never given or been to Mary Bridge, so they must be trying solicitation for something else.  Did not answer, added to reject list.  Funny how I get most annoying calls on my cell, but not on the landline.

Moron.  These people are creeps.
