All good advice until the air horn part. People using air horns are at a FAR greater risk of damaging their own hearing than causing even an annoyance to the scammers, as only a set db level (sound volume) can be transmitted through a phone connection. Also it is most likely that the scammers use volume limiting headsets. Many people have found out that the scammers can be VERY vindictive, and angering them can cause more repetitive calling.

I have not credit cards and constantly get these calls. There should be a way to prevent them.

Just the same old credit card scam.  I received a similar/same call from 931-937-0741about an hour later.  I've got both numbers blocked now.

Upon call this number back, a recording says that you have reached a number that is no longer in service.

This company has been harassing me with phone calls for years.  I've asked them nicely to stop, but to no avail.

Now, every time they call, I go to the donotcall.gov webpage and submit a complaint.  If we all did that instead of posting about it here, it would make these guys' lives a lot more difficult!

Credit card scammer.

I get calls from this number in Chicago on my cell phone and at my vacation home in Montana.  The Montana house is rented out most of the year yet these people call making it appear I have credit card problems.   What can I do to remedy these calls.

Sorry Billy, but filing these complaints is a waste of your time.  Our government already has the ability to track these guys down at the NSA, but they would rather spy on your personal telephone calls rather than enforce the do not call registry.  Our current government is hopelessly confused as to its purpose and doesn't take any substantial action against these criminals.  Just don't answer calls from numbers you don't recognize.  Answering them only confirms that your number is a good number, and that keeps your number on the calling list.

My 73 year old mother recieved a call from this scam credit card company, They told her
They could lower her card to zero percent but needed her card info to do thatl
For her, she gave her info to them because she believed them, You can guess the rest.
Yes they stool all of her money off this card, She found this out when she went to fill her car
up with gas and the card did not work because it was maxed out, I had to meet her 3 hours
later after I got off work to fill her tank with gas.
Its amazing that here in the Usa that there are scam companies CARD SERVICES that have the nerve to call a person,lie to them , ask for your credit card to lower your intrest and get away
with it by get your personal info on your card, then use info and steal your money off your card, This scam company card services has an automatic phone calling system that calls you and when you answer a live person comes on the phone thats tries to get your credit
info, you can block thier number but you will end up getting another call and another and another call from still yet phone number, so them use lots of phone number to call from,

I love it when these guys call. The people they hire are so dumb, you can keep them on the phone for 20 minutes or more giving them fake numbers and stuff. I talk real slow, and act like I'm searching for my purse, and tell them stories about my bowel troubles.  Just whatever comes to mind at the time.  I'm aggravated now though b/c when they call, I try to patch through and I can hear someone picking up then hanging up before without giving me a chance to screw with them. I wonder if they're on to my antics and have now blocked ME :-( Oh well, I had fun with them while it lasted.

Yes they called me and almost got me when they asked for my card number I said you should have it if you are calling me and they hung up on me. Then the next day they called again I asked to remove my number and they again hung up. They call me daily now wish this would stop

I felt like answering today - hit #1 and they came on line after 4 rings.  I asked how they were doing - they asked how could they help I told them "stick a big pole up your ass"      play with these people once in awhile - it's fun.
