I get that call everyday.....I put them on my Blocked Callers List, it will ring 1/2 ring then will disconnect them.  Best phone I ever bought!!!  The only problem is that is only holds 20 blocked calls, so every other week I have to delete one to add another because I get so many of these very annoying calls!!!!

I received a call from this company MCOA  looking for my daughter.  I live in TN and she lives in IL.  They said they were with the Worth, IL Police Dept.

I received a call from this number stating I owed money for a moving violation ticket in Illinois from 2001.  They said they found my cell number through a listing search company.  They have never sent anything via mail and cannot prove I owe any money to any policy department for outstanding tickets.  This seems like a scam to me.  Furthermore, how can they get a pay as you go cell phone number unless someone else gave it to them.  Do not send them any money,

I received a phone message from this number.  It said they were from "Collections of America" and were calling about our Red Light Violation and we should call back asap between 9 and 5:30.  They did not ask for a particular person.  Although I do travel to Illinois, I was immediately suspicious.  If I had indeed made a violation, I know a picture of my car making the violation would be mailed to me.  My husband and I decided not to call back and wait to see if they try again.

i've gotten al least ten calls from tis number 708455-4046 all recordings, saying its municipal collections of america, some times the name left differs slightly. i haven't called them back as im not in collections. its harassment. recorded harassment.

They call me every week concerning a violation in the Chicago area. Haven't been in Chicago for years. Who are these people?

Received a call from 708 455 4046 One last week Stating a municipal code violation it is a recording speaking very fast. Give numbers to call back to discuss it but will not repeat. Don't live anywhere near Berwyn

708-455-4046 MCOA aka RMI aka MSCI calls regarding nonsense tickets for which they would not provide verification. I know for a fact my license is clean (verified by DMV). These people are scammers pure and simple. Wanted a credit card # right then and there "to make it go away." Riiiiight. Phone Phishers.

Received two different phone calls, the first was two weeks ago regarding supposed unpaid tickets. When I said that I didn't have any outstanding tickets and that I was going to double check with the city they hung up. I received a second call tonight about the same thing, I explained again that I didn't have any unpaid, he kept insisting that I did and then said, "We'll let the police handle this then" and hung up again.

Collection agency for the Village of Worth (IL). They did not ask for me by name, they asked for another person. I got into a so called argument and told them to screw off, I am not paying, I hope it continues so I can keep messing with their minds as now it is my turn to cause them grief

Just got a call from MCOA 708-455-4046 saying they were from Muscatine IA & asked for SB, my mother. I am 9-10 hours away from the area they are speaking of & don't travel there. Also, I'm a married adult, my parents don't live with me or my family. The lady said it was a personal business matter. It seems to me to be a scam. I'd like to know why my phone from a few states away was associated with my mother's name.

Got a recorded call from MCOA (on my caller ID). It was supposedly from a red light infraction and we should call them back at 708-455-4046 between the hours of 9am & 5:30pm.  They left no other info.  After reading other people got calls from this number it sounds like a scam to me too!  As far as I know red light infractions are sent via the mail too.

MCOA, Municipal Collections of America, called my mother claiming she had 2 unpaid red light tickets in Illinois.  She lives in Florida.  I called them back and they were a little defensive.  I asked how they got her number and they said it was a mistake and would remove it.  But when I asked who they were they only want to tell me they worked with municipalities.  I persisted and Latoya said the company was MCOA.  I asked what MCOA stood for and she didn't want to tell me.  She asked what it mattered if they were taking the number off of their records.  I asked why she was reluctant to tell me the name of the company.  She finally did and then asked if she could hang up now.  We ended the call and I looked them up online.  It does appear they are a collection agency for municipalities, but I do think they phish for information.  They wanted to know my mother's name and address and I declined to provide it.  I was calling from the number they called, so they could look up their information.  I just wanted to make sure they were legitimate.  

I had outstanding Parking tickets for village of worth and MCOA said they were their collection agency and if I didnt pay my license would be suspended. I didnt pay and my license was suspended so I had to go on payment plan with them but they show me no proof of tickets and every month they claim a new ticket from different towns come through. I owe a total of $3200. I missed one payment and they re suspended my license. They call me harassing me every week even tho I tell them it'll take me a few months to pay it. This lady is very rude and treatens me with wage garnishment and says she doesn't want to here my reasoning for not paying! How is this legit to show no paperwork or receipts of my payments but I'm expected to pay to reinstate my license?

someone from this # 708-455-4047 calls my home every day.  they say that I owe 270.00 in red-light traffic violations.  I never received  notification of this by mail. when I asked them to mail a copy of the violation to my home, they don't ,however, they continue to call.  not sure what this is about but I'm  going to dig a little further to try to find out.

Received a message on my answering machine stating that I had a Municipality violation.  The name they left was MCOA.  I have not been in the Chicago area and would not have any violations.  The message was very fast spoken and detailed no further information.

This debt collection company disguised themselves as a official goverment establishment in Chicago, IL stating a violation occured.  After call them to correct this information they were in search of someone to collect a debt and "Lisa" stated they were not really in Chicgo.  This person sounded as they she was awakened from her sleep and did a poor job of covering up the dishonest from the claims they made to get a call back.  Big SCAM.
