I have never been charged extra for calling this number. Standard long distance rates apply. If you have a cell phone most companies offer free calling in the US so you won't pay anything for the call. This phone number is a free conference call center, where organizations can set up conference calls. It is often used by network marketing companies. If you aren't interested in hearing what they have to say don't dial the number.

Yes, thank you for the information as I fell into the same trap as you did responding to the Job Scout offer, and I just opted out through the email they sent me.  Thank you for your posting, which helped me to avoid this scam.

A flyer giving that number shows them as selling a herbal supplement called Alivamax, a product made from mineral pitch (shilajit) "scientifically proven to help or elimiate" all kinds of diseases, among other things (but you cannot find a list of ingredients anywhere)...and make you feel peppy, too!  (Right out of the 19th Century.)  Alivamax is a pyramid schme, like Amway.  Some people are foolish enough to believe anyone if they think they can get in on getting rich.  The FDA hasn't gotten on to them yet.  It is unlawaful to claim that a product can be used to treat a disorder, because then it must be licensed as a drug.  They are just staying within the parameters of the law, I suppose.

But it sounds from these posts that they are doing anything to make a buck.

Oh, I see what this number is.  You have to have a PIN number to access a message or talk to a person at a particular company.  So the number itself apparently does nothing.  Usepin number 163035 and you get Alivamax; another pin number will get you someone else.  These people/companies use the number (712-432-0075) like leasing in an executive suite building where each suite is a different company.

Thank you. I also was given this number and acess to call  for interview as a Job Scout.  Something told me to check out the number and I found your info.  I won't be having that interview.  If this is a sincere job offer I'll let them contact me, I won't be call them.

I also received this phone call and was prepared to look into it.  Luckily, I was contacted for a real job interview which would have conflicted with the phone call.  Is there anyone who can really vouch for this job opportunity.

I applied for the job to, but i have never had a propblem so far with anything, my conference call went just like it should, anytime i had a question i emailed my manager and he responded very quickly i also Instant Messaged him and he responded fast. I have posted job like i am supposed to be doing and they have all approved, i never had to pay for anything. I have only been doing it since yesterday and today so i dont know whats in store for me later but im not sure what to think. My manager also sent me a W-9 form through email and wanted me to fill it out for employment, just like any other real employer would. Well i guess i will see if i recieve a check in a week or two huh? Any advice?

I'm glad I read this first before I even called the number. I'm not gonna call at the time even. I didn't realize it was a scam.
I'm looking for work so hard that I thought this was legitimate.
    Thank you

    No Dumbass Here!
As with a lot of others who are searching for a job, I responded to JobNab and they sent me the typical email to call into their number for an interview.  (712-432-0075)  I normally work as an Executive Assistant and know first hand that legitimate companies do not let others call in on a toll charge!  Legit companies will provide an 800 number so the caller is not charged!  DON'T call this number as this is how they are able to make money for themselves...by charging $1/minute to those who are searching for work!  I'm glad I researched the number and found all of this out before my "interview" tomorrow.  Saved myself some time, hassles, and problems!  Thanks to all who posted and I feel bad someone fell for BS like this!

They tried to pull a fast one!
This is the email I sent in reply to there request for me to call them regarding the job of Job Scout.

I have been waiting for your call and not until I opened up my email did I find that you are wanting me to call you regarding your offer.  Before I called I Googled the phone number and found many (34) complaints regarding this job offer as a scam and warning people away.  As I am looking for a real job and not one that can or may draw people into more turmoil than they are ready in looking for a job in this hard economy.
I find that it is hard to believe that if a company is offering a real job they would leave it to the applicant to make the first call and only request a cell phone number and not a land line, even in this day and age of the cell phone most people also have a land line for business purposes.
After all I have read please remove my name from any further interest in this position.

They tried to pull a fast one!
I just tried to access the website they set to me in their email,  www.internet-companydeintro.com for the accompanying slideshow, where I was told to please dial on your phone, 712-432-0075 and enter your access code of 259111# during the call I would be asked togo to the website.  Guess what I just tried it and was told to enter the access code and hit submit - it did not work.  The email came form Kevin Davis, Vice President of Marketing JobNab.  The more I look into this company the more I smell a scam - if I am wrong forgive me but I will always lean on the side of caution where my future and livelihood are concerned.

I got this same phone number and checked it out - it was supposed to be for a Job Scout interview and when I checked this number I found out it was a scam.  I will not be calling them.

    Thanks for the info.

i went through the process only to find out i would get paid only by charging the job seekers money. instead of charging employers a fee to post on jobnab's site they charge job seekers a fee. and they claim they are for the job seeker.

This number is to a free conference call org, anyone can set an account up, so it is not this specific number that you guys should be concerned about checking into, but the company that provided you with the number along with their specific access code. Some sites have posts that claim you are charged per minute when you call into this number, but that is not true at all, it is just a gateway to connect you to a free conference call.
