I get 2-3 calls a day from 713-696-5500.  Fortunately, I have Comcast, which allows me to block up to 25 callers.  This one is now on the list!

This is a new number for Clothing Donation (now shows up as Clothing Pickup on CID). We've asked them to stop calling multiple times but to no avail. Now will go on blocked list.

This is a Houston Achievment Place (HAP) clothing donation. If you have given before they pretty much call you for more.   They will probably take you off the list when requested. I give a few times a year.

This is an outgoing phone number from Houston Achievement Place. It is an agency we have been donating mainly clothing to for a number of years. The website is http://www.hapkids.org/quickfacts.htm. We believe it is one of several deserving 501(c)3 non-profit groups to work with.

Charity solicitations to cell phones are illegal (they can call land lines, unless you tell them to stop; then they legally must stop).  You can sue them for $500 each time they call... but chances are the "charity" does not exist anyway, so good luck with that.  If your cell phone doesn't have a block feature, just add this number as a contact called "spam" and give it a silent ring tone.  Keep adding to it with the next scammer number du jour.

If you ask them to stop calling, charities are legally bound to stop calling.  The problem with this outfit is getting anyone on the line at all.  You can't get off their call list if they never talk to you.  Seems like they just call for fun, with no intention of actually talking to anyone who answers.  You could try the main number given in the post above, but check the number out on the internet first.

First of all, you should never call back any of these crooks. You cannot stop robo calling, you have to ignore them or buy a call blocker for some $50 and let the machine take care of them.

You are about to be sued I get calls from you people every single f****** day and have told you repeatedly to put me on your do not call list and so far it hasn't been done so I will sue you really soon.

We’ve donated in the past several times. I’m glad I googled the number, as now I will save it in my phone log so I’ll know who you guys are calling. And not a scam.

I'd say it's pretty scammy if callers refuse to stop calling you when asked!

Have you tried blocking the #. Also if you have donated anything recently, contact the # you use to call them and tell them to cease and desist with any further calls to your #.
