Four several months, I had their number tagged to get a special recorded message every time they called, informing them that I didn't want their calls, their calls are not welcome, and they should never call me again.  And for months, they ignored that recording, often calling me several times per week.  The last one was twenty days ago as I write this.  Perhaps someone in their boiler room finally listened to the recorded message and told a supervisor that maybe they ought to listen to it.  Maybe.

It's quite possible a computer was doing the calling so no, they wouldn't have heard your "special recorded message". Nor would they care if they DID hear it. Scammers don't care if you don't want to be called.

Following up.  They're back on day 21; that's the longest hiatus in their calls that I could find; I waited 20 days to post about it before because I wanted better than just a week or so before getting my hopes up.  They've clearly flipped my recording to A Live Person in the past, as evidenced by captured recordings from my line.  (Yes, I have one of those record-all-calls devices set up, and by Texas law, I need not tell *anyone* that it's there.)

Call logging is against the TOS for this website.

These people call all the time .... scammers.  They are a pain in the b*tt.  I never bother answering ... don't want to encourage them in any way.

Since you're "on the do not call list" you must have read what it covers so you should know it doesn't apply in this case. Here's a hint: charities are exempt.

You're a scofflaw posing as a charity; you're requiring people to call a different number in order to get removed, there are many reports that you don't honor those requests, and your call center employees never honored *my* requests to NEVER CALL ME AGAIN.  If I didn't have call filtering, I'd have lawyered up and sued you into Chapter 13 long ago.

Requesting clothing/small household items.  Two months ago I donated to a veterans' pick-up.  I told the callers that.  The first time.  The second time. And today, the third time.

Robocaller from Houston Achievement Place: "Hello, my name is Dorothy, and I'm calling on behalf of the Houston Achievement Place, and we're going to have a truck on the street. Hello?"

I'm in Alabama, why the hell would a 'charity' call me from Houston?
