Computer generated message called my cell, from a company called c "account services" with an offer to lower my interest rate. I'm on the do not call list, when questioned, the representative became rude and obnoxious. When I asked for her mailing address to report this, she replied "good luck" beware of anything from this number.

I got the same call just now.  Let the machine pick up.  They didn't leave a message.

Automated caller calls your phone asking if you want to lower your current credit card rate, asking you to press "1" if you wish to lower your rate. When you press "1" and speak to a representative, they want YOUR credit card number and YOUR Social Security Number. When you ask why they dont know it, the woman on the phone goes ghetto and starts talking in ebonics and cussing. This is an identity theftcredit card # theft.

Got this call today August 10 4:50pm...no message and when you call it goes directly to voicemail

Just got a call from this number also at 845PM Eastern time, Wondering how we can figure out who sold our phone number. I dont even own a credit card

File a report with the FTC. This is an obvious attempt at Identity theft / Credit Card # Theft. I filed a report with the FTC.

I recently applied for a low interest mortgage refiance with Embrace Mortgage and since then, I've started getting calls from credit card companies like this 714-244-23-2 and 702-528-7012. I am still thinking about doing the Embrace refi, but I'm wondering if they "sold" my cell number.

Any similiar experiences?

Aug 11, 11:08am 3st. I didn't answer. When i call back it goes to a full voice box.

Just got a call from here, didn't pick up and no voicemail.  Googled the number instead fortunately...the area code is Orange CA?

Just got a call at 11 AM, didn't answer and it went straight to voicemail.  They haven't called back yet and I'm glad I looked it up!

Same story here. They are really after some identities today.Too bad most of us are too smart for the scammers these days.
