I also juat got the same call to my cell phone.  I let it go to vm, but they didn't leave a message.

These parasites are kinda like fleas.  You never can get rid of them, they just keep cropping up.

The most recent call was yesterday from the above number.  It took me a while to catch on, but now I never answer a call I don't recognize.  I figure if it is legit they will leave a message and I can decide whether or not to return the call.

I got this call too - I keep a form letter  whenever I get a call so I can just paste.    I also have a form letter I use to file a  complaint with the DO NOT CALL registry ran.  I also send these to corporate headquarters

this number is being used as an auto-dialer phishing for credit & social security #'s.
I am on the do not call list and still received a call from them.  wants you to push 1 to speak  to live person who tries to get your info.  
Because you allow this # to continue to operate I am posting a note with all your corporate, data including tel #'s on the complaints site's to continue to email & call/email  you each & every time they get a call from this #.  Bottom line - run the # yourself ... see what's being said ... then block the # & the group from getting any further service from you.    signed - The tired public has had enough

Same case. they called twice first i didnt answer no message left second time i answered and asked why they are calling when i dont have a credit card and she hung up.

Kudos to Just Fed-up...I to have filed a complaint with the DO NOT CALL registry...I have been on the registry for over a year now, and this is the first call that has been able to get thru...It would be adviseable for everyone to file a complaint as well..and thanks for the pasted form letter as well for others to see how this company seems to function.

I received a call from this number at home and on my cell. When I called the number back, it went straight to voicemail. I'm glad to know that this is a possible scam. Thanks . I don't understand how they have my landline and my cell number since I never give any companies that number.

I, too, am on the Do not call list and received a call this morning on my cell phone.  When I answered, no one began to speak so I just hung up.

I got a call from this number at 12:20, I did not answer and they left no message.

The call is coming from people in Orange, California. freesearching.com/area_code_intl.htm  Will allow you to type in the number and see anything up to and including names, addresses, and their service provider. The full report does cost $1 but the free mini-report is enough to figure out if you actually know who the hell is calling you.

I just got a call from them. Didn't answer because I've been getting calls from about 6 states.  I don't answer if I don't recognize the number.  This is great.  I didn't know you could find out where or who is doing this.

Got a call from 714-244-2302 - computer generated message talking about credit cards I don't have and lowering interest rates on balances I don't have. Spam. The number is out of Orange County, CA.

"I grabed the whistle and blew it as hard as I could.....then threw in "(explitive) OFF!!" and hung up"

I got a call from this same # at 5:30 this morning! [***] woke me up....i saw the # and im like who the hell is this?? i didnt answer it and they didnt leave a msg. id like to know how they got my # though because ive never given it out online. creepy...

They say they are CARD HOLDER SERVICES  and this is the number that calls you  - 714-244-2302.  They are ILLEGALLY calling your cell phone, plus illegally using a recorded message.


I believe they are listening as they play this recording because when I hollered that I was reporting them and to Put my number on their DONOTCALL list, I got hung up on!

I immediately reported them, as I had reported other numbers they used to call this same cell.

This number is NOT given to anyone and I know it is one of those going down through a "group of number" calling techniques.

The FTC has put these  companies and scam artists out of business before and will again!

REPORT THEM at 1-877-FTC-HELP (1-877-382-4357); This is the FTC number for this agency.  You do not have to be on a "do not call" list to report them!   You do NOT have to have your CELL PHONE on a DONOTCALL list because it is ILLEGAL for them to call you on a cell phone!

got a call from this number on 8/16/2010.  didnt answer

this number called my cell phone ad I never get anything but personal calls  at that number-never telemarketers or likewise. I didn't recognize the number and didn't answer. They didn't leave a message. I tried to call it back-just for kicks. It rang to voicemail, but then said that the voicemail box was full. good to hear it is a scam number anyway.

This number called me Aug 13th, didn't answer, didn't think anything of it- until the same thing just happend to me again, but this time it was from 714-244-5025 and since I'm from the East coast, and this area code is nowhere near me, I decided to look it up. Glad I'm not alone! Annoyed.
