- fed up| 1 replyI am getting calls fom 714-551-5579 sometimes twice in one day but they do not leave messages, but my caller ID says bank of america. I called my bank and asked if they were calling me and they told me that was not one of there numbers and that it is a scam that is trying to get into peoples account to scam you, and you need to report every single call to the FTC at 877-382-4357.
- Caller: not ligit bank of america
- KCalled three or four times a day.

- Judy in OKC replies to MikeThanks for the BOA privacy website. You can also CALL their privacy line at 1-888-341-5000, which is what I did. There's a 2-step process to stop these calls. 1-They'll opt your phone number out of any BOA marketing. 2-Then they'll connect you with their insurance products number: you enter your phone number and it automatically opts you out of their insurance partner marketing. They assured me that there were no other partner marketing numbers to opt out of, so these two should do it.
FYI:BOA explained the reason why no one is on the line with so many of these telemarketing calls: it's an automatic dialer. If a sales rep happens to have an open line when your number is called, they're connected with you. If there's no available rep at that time, you get the click and the hang-up experience, and your number is recycled in their system to dial again later. - Marieditto, same number called Lan line today-no voice message. ID says BOA[Bank of America]. It's more annoying when you do have an account -but they won't leave any message. Why was it not local? Get other 800's asking about some credit union account, [not mine]wrong initials anyhow. It sounds like dumpster dive fishing to me.
- Mary K| 1 replyI've already told this BoA insurance affiliate to stop calling me, but got another call today. So I went and opted out online. It may take *12 weeks* to be fully effective!
BTW, I did accept this insurance originally, but we we finally got the paperwork to look over... it didn't even start for another couple weeks and it was so focused on specific circumstances that the odds of it ever being any benefit were practically nil. I called and cancelled before the end of the "free" 30 day period (when it wasn't actually in force anyway)!
Just another way for BoA to steal your money. Tell these twits at National Union Fire Insurance Company NO.- Caller: Bank of America

- lala1274| 1 replythey've called me twice so far but i dont think its actually bank of america. they called me on saturday as "bank of america" and then again as "BK America". i seriously dont think its them, it could be another company using theyre name for caller id. you can do that. theres an app for it on the new DROID cellphone.
- Caller: Insurance
- Call type: Telemarketer
- eahalso getting calls 2-3's a day. They leave no message. Today I answered it and they want to add fraud protection to my credit care and tried to get me to say yes to her sales pitch. When I asked for written info she hung up

- very annoyeda woman in her 30s-50s called me, asked for me by name to verify that I answered the phone and then said "thank you, good bye"
Then when I called back, it went straight to voicemail, to Kristen whose a teenager.
WHAT is REALLY GOING ON???? - Jean CottonI keep getting this calls from Bank of America. So far from 3 different numbers include this one, and from different States. I do no business with BOA, not banking nor credit card.
I called their privacy number at 1-888-341-5000 and they assured me they
would stop but that it would take up to 2-3 weeks to stop the calls. That tells me they are fully aware of this and are condoning this practice. When I answer there is no one on the line so they must be robo-calls.- Caller: Bank of America

- McMom replies to Mike| 1 replyI took your advice and went to that page. Before I could request that they stop calling they required me to leave my address. I don't think so! If I don't want to be contacted by phone, why would I give my address to them and open myself up to their junk mail?? Thanks for the suggestion, but no thanks!
- CocoIs there any way to stop these calls? It is Bank of Amercia. I do my banking there, and have told them that I am not interested in the insurance they try to sell me, but they just keep calling. It is so iritating.
- Caller: Bank Of Amercia
- Call type: Telemarketer
- colady replies to McMomI felt the same way at first, but decided that I would just go with it and see what happened. After entering your address you are asked if you would like them to stop contacting you via mail and phone, and therefore you shouldn't be getting anything in the mail. Who knows, though....
- yangdo not call!
- xxcall 7:35pm
caller id says Bank of america
never did business with them
this is a spoofed # as per caller complaints.com
on dnc list
do not answer calls from #' like this
no message left
will complain to FTC but it is hard to track a spoofed # as they keep changing the #'s they call you from
would never use there opt out function as they do change #'s frequently
just do not answer and eventually they will give up
they call at different time usually to see if there is pattern to when you are home so they can target the timming of their calls- Caller: Bank of America
- RobinGo to https://www.donotcall.gov to register a complaint. I have asked them to not call multiple times but they call anyway. If enough people complain, something will have to be done. Please take the short time to register your complaint. I have been on the Do Not Call registry for years and re-listed my number with them last year. They won't stop until they are made to.
- Caller: BK America
- Call type: Telemarketer
- KathyI have gotten calls from this phone number: 714-551-5579 but the caller ID says: cellular call. I answered it and they asked for me. I told them I wasn't home to call back some other time.
- Caller: Cellular Call
- rudy9:09am
today on dnc list
have never done any business with BofA
calls every few days and never leaves a message- Caller: Bank of America
- ? replies to Mikebut then they start e-mailing you!
even if you never had an account or any business dealings with them before
and it is another way to get around the dnc list although they use spoofed #'s and different ones to boot so they are hard to track by the FTC
