This is a scammer number. A caller inquired about my credit card and when I said I was aware of the doings of scammers, the call was abruptly dropped. BEWARE!

I have received call from this number on several occasions throughout the year and whenI answered today, the lady with a spanish accent said she was calling form San Jose, Costa Rico. Strange but true and when I asked how she gotr my number, she said she got it from banking info or an online business directory.  She thenhung up I could hear like noises form a busy office or factory setting.

She should've been straight foward and told you that her boiler room was setup by a criminal from the U.S. Most probably some freak that has dual citizenship. He must be hiding his tax money there as well.

Same story this morning around 10:00 AM. The FTC will not take any action without a "significant" number of complaints. They will not say what makes a "significant" number of complaints. I suggest you do the following:

(1) file a complaint at
               https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx?panel=2

(2) email or snailmail you congress-persons (Representatives and Senators) about the FTC's failure to enforce the Do-Not-Call list. Mention Donald S. Clark, Secretary of the Commission. This is the guy whose name appears on correspondence claiming they don't have enough complaints. (If you have a Republican, forget this step, their not interested in our problems or interested in accomplishing anything useful).

(3) call the FTC, Donald S. Clark, Secretary of the Commission at 1-202-326-2514.

Idiots called me this afternoon, some nonsense about a survey of resturants inmy area. I told them to f***k off. Guess there is noirelief from scammers.

We recv'd a call from this number and all we heard was heavy breathing and typing on the background.  Weird and a bother.

I just rec'd a call, caller ID...DONT know the NUMBER?

I am on the DO NO CALL list and they call my cell.

I do not answer, they do not leave a message.

We are calling from the Cayman bank about your account. I was not there so they were told to call me at another number.

This number called several times.  No one on the other end.  One guy (obviously from the Indian subcontinent) started and spiel about how he was with CIDO research and wanted to do a survey about financial stuff!!!  I let him go on for a minute or so and then asked if he thought I was f'ing stupid or crazy and hung up.  Shows as La Brea, Cal. but seems to be overseas phishers.

Got a call from this number, didn't answer.   Called back and all I get is a busy tone as if it does not exist.  No busy operator message, just a fast paced busy tone.

received call from this # 2 times in a row tonight then another called 7145981735 is # is also from California but in Anaheim.  As someone posted the DNC registry is a joke. We the people of the USA did all the work for their data base & we still get unwanted calls. We are not important to the government they just want our money & time wasted.

Guess what? I also got a call from this number! Don't feel like calling back for monkey noises though.

I have received several calls also. after getting fed up, I set my computer to redial it every 20 seconds and let it run a few days... Received no more calls...

Got a call from this number tonight. Had to call back, number says it's from brea California? No noises just a dial tone

That isn't a busy signal...it's an out of service signal.

They called but left no message on the answering machine.  I called back and got an out of service signal.  More than likely it is a robo-dialer.  Caller ID says Unknown Name.

Call at 17:40. ID said "Brea CA." Did not pick up, no message, big surprise.
