calls with no voicemail

ING is owned by Capital One. Seems to me that if you owe any monies to them, they are trying to make your life miserable?

Guy said his name was David Morgan from time Warner cable asking me to take a survey then starting asking personal questions I hung up on him his English was real bad and when u call the # back it said it wasn't in service

Daily calls speaking ONLY in Spanish. When you say no espanol, they switch to English with heavy Spanish accents. Appearing as a survey of some sort.

Same thing just happened to me. Got a call from a hispanic guy asking if I can answer a few questions about restaurants in my area. He asked if I was 16 or older and I said yes, then he asked my age and for the first 3 digits of my area code, then said, "Thank you have a good evening." I said, "Can I ask you a question, what do those questions have to do with restaurants in my area?" He gave an answer that didn't make sense to me so I told him, "I thought you were going to ask me about restaurants in my area." He said that it wouldn't let him go on with any more questions because the quota had been met. Quota for what?? My age?? I told him I was suspicious because of all the scam calls and he told me it is a legit company to collect research and to look up Harmony Research online. Well hmmmm. WEIRD!!

I also got a call from this # and I too have called ID and it does come up "Unknown Name". After reading some of these post I am so glad I did not get a chance to pick up the phone, my machine got it. THANK GOD!! Thank you to all that left post, this has been real helpful !!!!

these morons have called 3x in last couple of days. already had checked number on 800 posts, not that I would have answered the call anyway. they can waste their time but they will not waste mine. made it a hard and fast rule - do not recognize area code, you do not leave a message, I DON'T ANSWER!!!

Anyone have dealings with Capital One? Someone a while back it was them

Keep calling ever single day when I answered they hang up

I got a call from 714-706-3200 didn't answer and it left a short blank voicemail. So I came here to 1-800-NOTES to look it up. I just woke up, and seeing that other people had called them back and gotten monkey noises, I called them back also. I mean, who doesn't love monkey noises? Especially first thing in the morning.

Unfortunately when I called, there were touch-tone sounds instead... BORING

For the past two weeks we have received numerous calls from this number. We let our answering machine take the calls when they are unknown, or out of area numbers. Most of the time these people will not leave a message, but there was one call on our answering machine from this number that sounded like monkey noises. "IDIOTS"  We are on the Missouri NO CALL LIST, but it doesn't do any good because scammers do not care. So sick of these people!!!!!!!!

I didn't answer this call, when I called back I got an error message "this call cannot be completed as dialed" or something like that

When I answer they click and hang up, but when I call the number back it say your call is not complete as dial, please check the number and dial again 0707 T. They call like 2 to 3 times a day.
The state and city says Brea, California

I received a phone call 10 days ago from an unknown number who claims to have been from a company (from Australia and a big telephone company/cell phone/broadband) Telstra and Bigpond Internet. Calling from Telstra Technical Department. This person had a heavy Indian accent and I played along and said that my wife takes care of the internet and computers and could he give me a phone number and my wife will call back when she is available. Of course this Indian gives me a legitimate Telstra phone number and I then asked what my name was (since I go under a fake name in the phone book and directory) and I said they don't live here anymore and he said thank you and bye bye and hangs up. For months prior around the same time the phone would ring and we'd answer it and it would say "Goodbye" and hangs up. It's on long enough for us to say "Hello". Since then we've not had any calls like that.

Since I'm Australian, I am assuming all these phone numbers on the 800notes.com are American numbers?

This number has called me twice in the past two weeks. The first time some random monkey sounds were playing. The second time (Today) I sent it straight to voice mail and I have not received a voice mail from them. Enough is enough for them and whoever it is needs to STOP.

And my number is on both the New York State and South Carolina State Do Not Call list.

We got a call from this number today at 5:45 pm and didn't answer. The caller ID was UNKNOWN NAME. No voice mail message was left. When I called back (our number is hidden by default on outgoing calls) I got a busy signal. This number will be added to our call blocker. I highly recommend such a device to avoid such nuisances.

This number has called me 14 times in the last 4 days.  They are blocked now  but this is on the verge of harassment.
