- F*ck ThisHave rec'd 3 calls from this # this week. This is a private cell #. Finally called it back today as I thought it possibly someone trying to actually contact me - not flipping auto-dialed me. Answered that it was Harmon Research. But they've been calling from a diff # than the one posted here. Recording said I couldn't leave a msg, box was full. Googled the co name and found Joey Harmon w/the # of 714-280-0333. I think that's been posted above? The # they keep calling from is 714-598-1735. I orig did a diff type of search to see who that # belongs to and here goes:
Sharon A Schramer
55 years old
Laguna Niguel, CA
307-733-8096
and one of the 'other' #'s listed for them is the -1735 one. and for prev addresses, it lists 2 in Buena Park, CA. The other person claiming that # and shows being related to the above woman is a Timothy J Schramer.
I could seriously research and list more info since I used to do skip tracing for a living. However, not worth the effort since I'm not getting pd for my time & effort here. I do agree w/what someone else posted here of turning the tables & keep calling them back. See how fast they get tired if it. Feel free to call the personal number above and see if they tire of it too :/ Personally, I'm just gonna block their f'ng # and be rid of it all...- Caller: Harmon Research
- Call type: Survey
- F*ck This PS:I forgot to mention that I called the number I found online (the -0333 #) and it was a recording saying I've reached Harmon Research, Joey Harmon and let's you leave a msg, which I did. Now I have 2 numbers to block ;)
- Caller: Harmon Research

- Yeesh| 6 repliesI got a call from 714-706-3200 at 6:45 PST. I've asked them to remove my number multiple times, because I have elderly parents who have been ill and I need to answer my phone. This time I used my whistle, we will see if that works. I would rather be polite, but this is so rude. My unlisted, DNC listed number is bombarded constantly. I have sworn not to do business with, vote for, respond to, any entity who refuses to not honor my "remove my number" request.
- Slim replies to Yeesh| 5 repliesWant to stop repeated telescam phone calls?
Try these alternatives:
1. Do not answer the phone if you see an unknown number on your Caller ID ... let it go to answering machine or voicemail. Many telescammers hang up after 3 rings.
2. If you have a smartphone, get one of the inexpensive or free phone blocker apps at your online app store, and learn how to use it.
3. If your cel is not "smart", read the manual to learn how to set up a "group". Assign the scammer's phone number to that group. Also assign a "silent ring" to that group. You will not hear future calls from that number.
4. For cels or landlines: Contact your phone service provider. They may have a facility or method to allow you to block numbers.
5. If you buy things online, you might want to google "phone blocker" to see what devices or apps Amazon or other sites have to offer for landlines or smartphones.

6. DO NOT call unknown numbers back! Instead, read this:
http://www.consumer.ftc.gov/blog/one-ring-cel ... ing-your-wallet - Yeesh replies to Slim| 4 repliesYou read my post? Elderly parents. I must answer. Can't let an elderly parent, or possibly an ER go to voicemail. I've asked politely. They hang up on my voicemail filling it up. They call 5 times a day. I've asked to be removed, explained politely, etc. My parents know this number, I will change it once they are gone. The more I ask to be removed from their call lists, the more they call. They should be ashamed of themselves. My carrier does not offer free blocking and my phone, landline, does not have it. It is a horrific invasion of my privacy, not to mention it makes me jump because I think it is another emergency.
...sad - Slim replies to Yeesh| 3 repliesI gave several alternatives, including getting a call blocker device for your landline.
Yes, you will have to pay for it, but it may be worth your while!
Google is your friend!
(See my earlier post, and connect the dots)
DO NOT change your number! Your "new" number will be somebody else's OLD number, and who knows what kind of scam calls they received? - Yeesh replies to Slim| 2 repliesMy landline is voip. Blockers don't work . Any other advice? Once I no longer need it I will give up the number.
- Slim replies to Yeesh| 1 replyWhat VOIP provider does not offer call blocking?
Perhaps you need to read this:
http://voip.about.com/od/voipfeatures/g/callblocking.htm - Yeesh replies to SlimMagicjack does not offer call blocking, unless you buy it. The point of switching my number to Magicjack was to save money since the number is only used these days for my 90 year old parents who would have issues remembering a new number, not to pay extra for the sake of telemarketers. I have no intention of paying extra for something to block calls that should be as simple as a request to remove my number. If call blocking were free I would use it, like the DNC list. If I ask an entity politely to remove my number, and I am on the DNC list, that should protect my rights. It should be as simple as one request, regardless if it is a survey, political, scam, or telemarketer, but it isn't. The number 'was' unlisted. By they way, the calls from the telemarketing number for this thread have stopped calling. So that's a plus.

SCAM - Me28Received a phone call from this number today.
I did not answer the phone, and they did not leave a message on my answering machine.
My caller ID reads this phone number as "Unknown Name."
Everyone be cautious ... more than likely, this is a robocall from telemarketing scammers. - Chicago Western SuburbsScammers And Harassers! They are now call blocked....
- Me28Received a phone call from this number today. They have called 2 or 3 times now.
I did not answer the phone. As my answering machine picked-up, they stayed quite for about 30 seconds and said nothing. But my machine did record a lot of chatter in the background from many, many other agents apparently talking & scamming the general public.
My caller ID reads this phone number as "Unknown Name."
Everyone be cautious ... this sounds like a robo-calling telemarketing ripoff operation.
I will report this number to the free service that blocks and will "stop robocalls and telemarketers."
This should help me and others in the future.
