I  got a call from this number on my cell, they didnt leave a message, so I went to the web and put in the number and I came up with this site, boy was I glad I did. I do have any debt with these people, and I am sure they dont know whom they are looking for, if so they why didnt they leave a message..

Well, I'm glad I read your posting.  I will just ignore the calls and hopefully 'Mr Barber' will get tired of calling.  About 2 weeks ago he said it was the last time he was calling.  Guess he forgot that!

I just got a call from the same number, I didn't answer it because I didn't know who it was. He left me a voice message saying he has a file on his desk with my name on it and he has 48 hours to process it but he has a conflict with my social security number. Wanted me to call him back to verify my social security number, does he think I have idiot written across my forehead? Anyone knows you never give out that information especially over the phone.

OMG, these people just called my job 5 TIMES!!  Once to speak with me regarding a debt and the other 4 to speak with my HR department.  I told them to not call me at work and they have no reason to speak with my HR department.  The last time a lady called back wanting to vefiry employment but would not tell me the name who they wanted to vefiry employment on.  I have caller ID on my phone so I know it was them.  The first 4 times the guy keep saying he was going to take me to court.  Please I know my rights.

I have gotten calls from a 'Jeremy' from that company at my office. If I am not available (which I never am for those calls) instead of leaving me a message on my voice mail, he asks to speak with our office manager (calls her by name). When the receptionist or one of the secretaries tell him that she has no interest in speaking with him (she is aware that these people are cum and frauds and has nothing to say to them), he becomes not only aggressive with the receptionist (or whoever) but down right rude, nasty, threatening, and ridiculous. I gotten several recordings from a 'Peter White' on my cell phones voice mail, saying that 'they have tried contacting me, but have had no results, therefore this will be the last time they contact me,' but they've left that message for me about 6 times now.  They are idiots and frauds and I am not sending them one thin dime!

I have received multiple phone calls from this company asking for my sister (they always leave messages because i am never home during the day).  Each time it is a different MR. someone and every time they say this is the final time they are contacting her.  My sister lives in a different state and has never even lived at this residence with this phone number.  I have tried to contact them to get my phone number removed, but no luck . . . they tell me that I have to give them another number to contact my sister or else my number has to remain on the file.  I have no idea what these phone calls are in regard too . . . but the messages they are leaving are quite nasty.  Isn't there anything we can do to stop compaines from doing this.  Where can I file a complaint?

Saying the call is a Civil Law Suit and since I won't contact them they are sending out a Warrant for my arrest.

They called my ex-husband's house and my work. They left a message stating that an affidavit was filed with their office and it was urgent that I call back with call back number of 877-268-9286.  When I called them back the lady was so rude to me she told me she was going to 1099 me on a payday loan I took out with CashNet. I am working with a debt settlement company to pay back the cash I owe them. She also told me that she was going to close my bank accounts and none of my checks would be good with telecheck. At the end of the call she said that I was refusing to pay and she was making the account as so. I told her that I never said that I would not pay that I could not pay at this time. She told me she was sending my account to the IRS for 1099 and telecheck. She also told me that it really does not matter because they will get their money any way... She also stated that I have refused to pay on a recorded line and she never stated I was being recorded, I know that only one party has to be aware of the recording. But when I called back to ask for a written letter stating when the collections was sent to them from Cashnet and how much my total was she told me she did not have to do that and she was not going to do that. I also asked her why she did not state I was being recorded she stated before I started spouting off the law like I was smart or something why don't I check my fact because I am not as smart I as think. When I asked her to repeat herself she was rude and said that a letter would not be sent and my account was noted as a refusal to pay. I still wanted a letter of some sort form them on their letterhead.  She was rude and said have a good day and good bye because I am done talking to you and hung up on me. I do owe Cashnet money and I do intend on paying them but this is a bit much. I do not want them calling my work or any other number associated with me. Can they 1099 and send me to telecheck? Help Please!!!

Someone called our home looking for someone who doesn't even live with us. They said our name was given to them as a "contact" for who they're looking for. I told them I had no idea of what they were talking about & that the person they are looking for doesn't live with us and never has.

I've recieved a call from a Mr. Thompson, from Tri Financial and I did request something in writing AFTER HE SAID I OWED $1,000.00 MORE THEN THE ORIGINAL LOAN I TOOK OUT.  He blew up,. and refused to send anything out. All he said is that he will send an email. THESE PEOPLE ARE VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.

Have you ever recieved anything in the mail, since they threatened to take you to court?

I know I just got a call on my cellphone from this idiot who didnot even identify himself by name saying he was calling from tri-financial and he needed me to call him concerning a conflict with my social security number.
Like what you said only an idiot would call and give some unknown person there ssn number.

Keeps calling my home, cell phone, and just received a call at work. Says I owe an debt on anwsering machine.  I have watched the program they have on dateline nbc and the scare tactics they use are illegal.  These people tryto pose as police, lawyers sherrifs and everything else, they are trying to collect old debt from you any way they can.  i have reported them to the attorney ;generals office.

So what did you report them for to attorney generals office for? Calling you about a debt that you owe? Last time i knew that was legal,I dont belive this was the agency that you saw on dateline either. Do you know what debt of your's their calling about? Maybe its not an old debt?

P.S. I very highly doubt anyone identified themselves as law enforcement officers,just cause you saw it on tv doesnt mean they did it too.

I received a call last night and they left a nesty message with no identifying information.  I received a call today from a man who asked for Kathleen.  I am a man with a very deep voice. I'm clearly not a Kathleen.  The man refused to identify himself and insisted I must know where Kathleen is.  I found the company by putting the phone number into Google.  If they call again, it may be time to contact the office of my state Attorney General. (BTW, I have a credit score just under 800, and other than a couple grand on 1 credit card, I am debt free.)

I have been getting calls from this company now for the last few days with threats of going to jail and having my kids taken away cause I'm a bad mother cause I haven't paid back the loan I took out! I have called the 1-877-382-4357 number and filed a complaint on this company! Thank god for the FTC.gov! I'm so tired of being scared to leave my house with my kids and to even buy anything for my kids! Please everyone make a phone call and file a complaint against this company! What they are doing is against the law and they need to be taken down for all the wrong they are doing! I will be one to admit I am not right for not paying back the loan right away but I have made payment and I will make them till it is paid off but when you have kids and other priorities they come first I'm sorry but having a roof over my kids head's and having food and cloths is more important to me then it is to make a small payment to the loan company! I just really think one day when these people need the help and they get it and then they fall on hard times like the rest of the world has I hope they get the respect that a human should get and not all the threats and calls back to back and everyday like we are all having to deal with.

I have also received a phone call from this place for a bill from Cashnetusa. I did owe them some money, but had done business with them for years, until I was over my head and had to default. The rude man I spoke to (cant remember his name) said I was going to jail for 4 counts of fraud and other threats. I told him I filed bankruptcy, I could tell he did not believe me and asked for the name and number. Then said my atty should call them. And they did. But unfortunately the called again today. I did not answer and they did not leave a message.
I sympothize with you all. These are some really nasty and intimidating people.
