Concerned can say anything he wants but it's a scam. Ace Cash Express, Speedy Cash, and the Cash stores abide by US laws. The overseas internet lenders don't care and will outsource debt collectors to harass and threaten you to pay. Only the federal government can garnish your wages but these debt collectors are threatening people with wage garnishment.

Got a call to call 866-410-8063 immediately. The number 716-335-9051 displayed on my cell phone. Something about "your bank". And "not a solcitation". We are not behind in any payments so wonder what this is all about.

It is the trickery and the huge interest rate that are the problem with payday loans. No payday loan operator has any morals. No payday loan should be repaid

I have been dealing with these people for about 2 weeks.  they got me for $700 dollars by threatening to have awarrant for my arrest.  they say I stll owe $887 and if not paid by today there will be a warrant issued.  This debt is from last year. A pdl loan.  But it was with my mom's account.  I did take out a loan(with my mom's permission) to help her with her bills.  It was a $400 dollar loan.  Why would it be $2400?

I received a call from them at 8:23 this morning.  Have caller ID and did not answer.  The last calls from this number were on 6/15 and 6/20 both in the AM that I did not answer.  I have been retired for many years and have NEVER  taken out a pay day loan, or written a bad check.  This is deffinately a big SCAM.
I am also on the DoNotCall list, but that does not seem to work.  Oh well, caller ID is great.

SCAM.....Dont fall for it. Until they mail me a letter to my home telling what, where, who and when to show proof I owe them anything I will reject their calls. they did call me today after almost a month and guess what it was from a new number 702-505-4105 and to my surprise (not really) they have a new name ATR... keep reporting them and maybe one day they will get caught.  I will keep adding them to my block numbers on my phone and go about my life...

Im not understanding why im getting these calls its starting to be uncomfortable I have a child and they talking about locking me up I don't know what to do this is so crazy

Got a call at 11:19AM.  Have caller ID, so I did not answer.  The phone rang 20 times.
Name showed Grace Weinberg.  Have had calls from this number before, at least 2 or 3 @ month.
I have no loans nor do I owe anyone anything.  Very annoying!

I just got a call from them,but  didn't answer. I did answer back in April. They said I had a bad check and I could settle it right there and then or wait and get served to go to court and pay the debt with interest and court and attorneys fees. I did take a loan out but that was paid,so I didn't know what was going on. I was 37 weeks pregnant and scared I would be in court or in jail. I told them to serve me the papers,which were going to be served the following day,and I would go to court. Five months later, I'm stil waiting for the papers. Ha-ha-ha. These people use scare tactics to try to collect on debts that don't exist.  And to "CONCERNED" I'm concerned your worried about other peoples debt.....if you dont like your job as a debt collector DO SOMETHING ELSE!!!!!!!

Had same call on my cell phone and could not understand the name they said they were calling.  They made the same statement to me about "my best interest to call etc.  Sounds like a Scam to me.

Here's what I do. Laugh at them for a couple of minutes to waste their time, (you know they're getting paid by the sucker they scam and wasted time is wasted money), then hang up.
Do that a few times and they'll stop calling.

They have called under the 716 number and also a 901 area code with the same message, can not understand the name of the person they are calling for......used the name Legal Service

They can't lock you up, or threaten to lock you up. They are breaking the law. Report them to FTC.gov.

This time it was a recording. The notes here informed me it was that Zimmerman ....,, company calling me. They continue to harrass and threaten me. They never send any documentation or who they represent. I will not give them one red cent. I'm not employed and they are scum trying to take our money without giving us any proof. You know these people called my employer earlier in 2012 and told my human resources dept and security dept that I'm going to be arrested by the federal govt. well shortly thereafter the documentation game at work started on me. I lost my job for other reason but its obvious they believed these scum bags. I told them I was being stalked but obviously they didn't believe me. I worked at the same job for 6 years and actually liked this job. It's a national large company on the top 20 list of employers you'd love to work for. These people act like the old Italian mobsters and get away with it. Look how long these phone complaints happen. Do you ever see the results that they got dealt with for the illegal ways they deal with us!!???  Never read or see they get arrested or closed down. Don't even speak to them. Screen all calls. I know I need to change my phone number  I'm stalling cause its so difficult starting over.

We rigged it so that there is totally confusion for the zip codes, ensuring no pesky written letters from you people ever get delivered to us!

2. Yes, we do routinely violate the Fair Debt Collection Practice Act. Yes that is illegal. Good luck prosecuting us though - our business can quickly disappear, and the next week we will start a new business with a new name - voile! We aren't afraid of the FTC, but we still get a little nervous when you threaten to tell on us!

3. No, you don't actually owe the money we are asking for. We would like you to pay us anyway!

4. No, there are not really any civil or criminal cases pending against any of you. Surprise!

5. No, there will be nothing garnished from your wages. No sheriff will serve you with a summons, and nothing has been filed in the court system in your county. Did we scare you? Fabulous!

6. We will continue you to call you, several times a day, using different people, live calls, and automated calls. I recommend that you do not answer our calls, but truthfully, we will keep it up for many months before giving up.
