Thanks..now they're calling us and being [***] to us.

I received robot phone calls from them too, for over a year, almost daily. I finally got tired of it and called them back. They gave me the name of some girl that was not me. I in turn called the FTC and made a complaint. What they are doing is breaking the law. If they have done this to you, please call the FTC and make a complaint as well. In addition to this you will also need to sent a certified letter to LHR's address asking them to cease calling your telephone number. It needs to be certified in order for you to have proof they got it. Save your phone records too, as this will be evidence to prove their harassment. Let's put these crooks out of business.

I just saw the message above about people in MN being harrassed. I will be calling that attorney. I have the evidence they need to sue this company. I would love to see everyone that works for that firm held accountable and prosecuted.

Call all the time for a person who does not live there. I have several calls recorded which I am not deleting, since I have sent them the letter to not call. They are rude will not tell you their name etc. They go so far as to say "stop hiding him" when the person they are looking for does not live at my number. When I tell them not to call and hang up on them, they call back with more crap. In the end I will probably just have to change my number.

as a former employee of LHR...and after watching Dateline NBC 3/27/09...  this is what i can tell anyone that wants to know...  sound out LHR and it sounds like LIAR!  that is what we were trained to do...  lie to get what we wanted.  LHR purchases debt from collection agengies that are usually "out of stats" which means LHR can NOT sue you.  
FDCPA has rules...rules that we as employess were trained on how to get around!  if you are not home we can call your neighbors, but by law we can only contact them once!  however, we were taught that it was once to speak to them, once to ask them about the "debtor", once to see if they can take a message and deliver it, and then once to see if the message was delivered!  in a week that is 5 calls...  but only ONE!  there is nothing that i did as a collector for LHR that was LEGAL!  the only way to succeed at LHR is to cheat the system!  If you can watch Dateline NBC 3/27/09, "TINA" as she would go by, was in the top 5 collectors in LHR!  her story about "say whatever it takes" was NOT a lie as the letter that LHR sent to Dateline states...   and Dateline recorded that in AUGUST of 08 and TINA was employeed until the day Dateline aired on 3/27/09...  yeah they fired the employees......BUT LHR kept them employed until they had to do something.  
HERE IS MY POINT...  know the LAW!  LHR is an easy target to sue...just record your conversation and strike it rich!!!  pay LHR and be fooled!!!

Cannot wait to sue LHR...was recently harassed by them at work over something I won in court...they must think no one knows FDCPA or FCRA.

You are so full of it. The system is designed to get people into debt. The credit card companies build in a formula for a certain percentage of losses based on their high interest rates. No collection agency can legally collect a debt that has passed Statute of Limitations - which is based on STATE LAWS,

You Idiot (Billy-Goat Blanks) people are more annoyed that LHR is using illegal tactics. It isn't money they would otherwise be out. LHR made a business to get in to this. They got their nose in to it and should use legal and reasonable methods to collect. It is not reasonable to use physical harm to resolve it. The other writers from what I read understand the company pushing the wrong persons buttons. It is like road rage. LHR just may pick a fight they couldn't handle.
