What do I do if these people are still calling my work and supervisors. they are getting me in trouble but I have told them to stop calling. our receptionist can not just ignore the calls that come into the office. please advise

Demand a legitimate, physical address in which to send a cease communication letter VIA certified mail with return receipt requested. This is your right under the FDCPA. If they refuse, let them know you will be seeking legal counsel who will get it for you and will be filing a lawsuit for harassment.

just whatever you or anybody does DON"T give them your correct information under no circumstance, even if you have to lie make up something to get them to leave you alone.

Got calls every 3 days for 4 months .! Stating that they would garnish my husband wages if we didn't pay the debt . We are in California and they said they have an attorney here .? How can I tell if they are fake .?

DEMAND WRITTEN proof of the debt.  Only a judicial order can garnish wages.  IF you think you may owe someone, contact your local court house CIVIL division.  They will tell you this is a scam to extort money from you.  Threating you with jail, police, etc is illegal as is claiming to be an attorney.  The phone area code is known to be full of scammers!!!
