The person said they wanted to talk to our accounts payable office.  They said we were 47 days late on our citi bankd Home depot account.  Our account is paid in full.  Citi Bank had no record of any calls.  They had asked me to make a check payment.

They said they were with an attorney trying to collect a debt that I had canceled months ago called the real attorney and they never heard of me.  They were calling all the time just don't take there crap names were Christine Blake 716 services credit manager Carmen and Rebecca Weller who sounds just like christine blake

I was told they were an advertising company that wanted some information before sending to my home address some magazines.
Things like how to spell my last name and my address. I told them I was uncomfortable giving out that information.
The information that I did give out was my age and that I worked at the company for 3 years. Once they started asking further information I stopped; the lady immediately hung up once I said I didn't want to tell her anything else. I was not rude so the sudden termination of the call was confirmation that this was a bunch of bunk. I participate in marketing studies for a local company and I get the feeling this was not one of them.

i have been receiving harrassing phone calls from this company as well...they have been extremely abusive on the phone to me, and i am contacting the Attorney General today to report this abuse.

I rec'd a call from 716 Services.  They were using the following number: 716-874-4873.  Yes, this is a scam.

I just received a call from them on my cell phone.  They were looking for my childs father. They didn't ask me any information, just asked me if I could pass along the name Jim Rice and the phone # to him.

Not sure if I should now or not.

The # he gave me to call was 877-668-6662

I honestly think the people that have made comments above, are just people in financial trouble. When I talk to one on 716's collection reps they have been nothing but polite & courteous

Hey dumbass maybe you should learn how to spell, obviously you are one of the uneducated idiots who work for that company.

I can't understand why they think that they can lie and say that they can take your whole paycheck, that is not legal, anyone with the internet could find that out! It is a lie! Do they really think that no one will actually call the IRS, or that no one knows a real attorney? Maybe they should actually learn the law before they quote it. They are just losers who can't find a real job so they work in out of some slum apartment in Buffalo, NY recruiting high school drop outs to pretend to be attorneys. At least one of the perks is you get to make up a fake name.

Got a call from 800-433-8784 asking for a personal friend.  No idea how they got my number but when I refused to give them any info regarding this person,  they told me I had failed to appear in court as well, and they were sending the sherriffs to come and get me as I can be held responsible.  Extension at above # was 111, man went by Tom,  actually called me a [***] before hanging up the phone as I laughed at his idle threats.

Called prof. office , wanted to give info on women working from home. Told person we were not interested and to please not call back.  The caller was very rude and said they would call back whenever they wanted to because I was not the owner of the business.  When I hung up- they kept calling, but would not leave a message.

said my grandson owed for magazine when I told her he was in the hospital and to cancel them she said that they couldnt be cancelled.  I told her that they were not going to be paid for and were going to be sent back.  She started swearing so I just hung up on her.

yeah, 716 services.  asked ME who I was first.  when i told them it was a business order line and to please remove me from the list -- i was hung up on w/o a word.

called them and the man who answered was nice, but who cares?

i'm tired of these jerks wasting my time and money.  thanks, "no call list".

So this seven one six services called me at work and told me that I was going to receive all of these of these FREE magazines and all I would have to do is pass them along to my friends to my family.  I love magazines so ofcourse I agreed.  Then a few weeks later this guy shows up at my work and tells me he came to give me a a free road atlas to thank me for participating.  Then he tells me to sign saying I receive the atlas and asks me to pay the shipping and handeling on these magazines.  I was very put off and didn't understand.  It was $26 and he said that they had told me this on the phone.  They had NOT.  I paid the man and have not received one magazine and now just got a second bill for $26.  Help.

yeah i worked there and not only are they ripping off the people who they call thay are ripping off their employees too i quit after a week i couldnt take it

A girl called me up at 8:30pm.  I told her I wanted the magazines.  Then she asked if I was black.  I told her, that yes I am.  She told me that they do not sell to black people.
