The thing is, it's NOT "five magazines of your choice". The 7-1-6 Website gives a huge list of popular magazines, however, the list that customers receive if they want to do any changing is very small, only 43, and the majority of those magazines retail for less that $15. for a year. It is A LOT more than $13. a month, more like triple that!
It is very apparent that the 716 employee who responded prior to my posting is uneducated, based on the written response. No wonder things are so messed up! The only reason you "make more money in one day sitting on your butt.." is because the service is dishonest and takes advantage of people!!!!
There is no way that customers shouldn't be able to be released from their contracts if they're not satisifed. Your company is a scam. If you have any conscious, you should have a very difficult time sleeping at night! I wonder how you even look yourself in the mirror without feeling guilt over what you do to innocent people? You totally misrepresent yourself and take advantage of people. Your company should be shut down.

Don't worry.  Just don't pay and don't believe ANYTHING they say.  They are not an actual business and have no basis to attack you financially in ANY WAY!  Don't believe anything you hear related to this subscription service.  Including attorneys, investigators, judges, officers, etc.  Make sure you get credentials from everyone!  Trust me!

I have gotten this call just recently and agreed to get these magazines and tonight at 7:47 Pm i got a call from a man saying he is coming to my house to drop off a list of magazines and pick up $26.00! I tried calling the 716-875-1250 number and got an answering machine, so I *69 the number he called from and it was a cell phone so I called it and of course he didn't answer but I left a message telling him not to come here and not to go to my place of employment either, that i don't want these magazines!!After reading all these complaints about this company I am a little worried about this. I wish I would have just hung up on them!!! I will never listen to another one of those calls again I will always just hang up!!

I had been getting hang up calls from the 716 number for several days.  I called the number listed above
716-875-1250 (Greg).  I told him I was aware of his scam.  He started rambling on about the car industry scam and religious scams that have been going on for centuries.  I said I would keep calling him every time they called me.  He is a real smart ass.  If you get a call for the 716 # call him up and let him know you are aware of his scam. It is a riot.

got a 716-875-2726. Got a call from them, says please leave a message at the tone when calling back. Ordered magazines from them in 05 for about 500 dollars. 6-7 subscriptions for think 5 years. Price was so/so, they are a pain to deal with. Look at the BBB Record and such. Would stay away from them.

Do you work for 716?  Because I was cursed out, called a liar and hung up on by a rep Lisa Carter.  She repeatedly called my work after I asked her not to, she lied about who she was and when I asked to speak to a supervisor she hung up on me.  Then I was unable to get in touch with anyone at 716 when I tried to call back and complain.  The number rang off the hook.  They are total and complete crooks!

Receive calls from this company at work - often two lines ringing with a rep at a time. They tell me they are going to send me free magazines, rattle off a few titles and then I usually hang up. This is the first time I have looked them up & I now see that when you accept the magazines you get harassing phone calls.

If you work there, there are plenty of places in the Buffalo area hiring that don't ask you to scam people.

I just got a call from 716 services and should have googled to see if this was a scam.  I gave my address and phone number to them.  I should have just said no but I didn't.  I sure hope they don't call me.  I will just send the magazines back (without paying postage) because I am not going to pay this company any money.  The number that they called on was (716) 875-3777.  However, if you call that number back it is constantly busy.

Too bad this company has been in business for 20 years and have no legal problems what so ever. So go ahead and call the IRS and BBB and whoever you want because NOTHING will happen. It IS a legit company so get a life and stop putting a bad name to this company. I'll find out where all you people work and start posting things all over the internet about your pathetic jobs! How would YOU all like that???

They just called my place of work. At first I thought, oh, that could be a good deal for the place that I work, since all my clients love magazines. I understood that it would be $13 a month. But, after reading through these comments, I decided that I didn't wan to do service with them.

I called back their number listed on the website, 716.875.1250, got a man who took my name and said he would cancel it. I asked for his name, he hung up.
I called back again, 10 minutes later to confirm that it happened, I got hung up again.
I called back again, got a different person. I went through the story, and he said nothing, but I could hear him breathing. I said, "I can hear you breathing." I then got hung up on again.
I called back, and I said, "I would appreciate not getting hung up on, this time." The man on the line said, "Ma'am, I said hello four times." I corrected him, telling him that I could hear his breathing and nothing else.
I told him that I wanted nothing sent to my house, and he stated nothing would. I then asked for his name, and he hung up on me.

I am going through the same exact thing with this 716 company...everything to a "T". These people were calling me about my monthly payment being late. At first was speaking with a woman, I told her I had sent out a money order for the monthly fee and at that point she acquired an attitude with me...then a man came on the line telling me they do accept personal checks and credit or debit. I politely said that is nice to know but I would rather do the money order, he then continued to tell me, several times, they accept personal checks and debit cards. He knew I heard him the first time, who now insist on getting paid with a personal check? That made any suspicion I had before multiplied by a thousand. I began to research and to no surprise I was involved in a too good to be true offer other wise known as a scam. Like many have said, this company refuses cancelation, and the magazines that were offered come extreme unacheduled  or not at all. This company is doing exactly what have been told in these other true confessions, they have called several times with claiming to be an attorney, calling my place of employment trying to squeez any personal information about be from who ever they can. Demanding to talk to accounts payable so they can have my pay check garnished. My co worker asked for more specific information and credentials for
This woman(Rebecca Weller)claiming to be an attorney and she was hung up on. Now these people have called and left a message claiming to be from 24/30 inc. telling me I need to contact them at 800-433-8784 extension 111 immediately in regards to this legal matter " especially now that we know about your employment situation". Wow excuse me...that is infringing upon my constitutional rights and I am taking the advice of all who have been affected by this company, I am perusing a complaint to be filed with the Attorney Generals office, as well as anywhere else I can go with my compliant.
