I called the number and some guy said he could not remove my name from the call list.  He said there were a lot of different marketing people there.  I informed him that I had a call from that number, so I did not understand why they could not take my number out of their system.  He then told me to calm down. I promise I did not even raise my voice.  I don't know what kind of game he was playing. He said next time they call to tell them.  So, I called back and got a girl that without hesitation said she would take my number off the list.  And the first guy said he was a supervisor.  We will see. Everyone, please take note, the way to stop these kinds of calls is with caller blocking.  That's what I do, and it is sooooo satisfying to hear that one short ring from these predators and then to see that they have been disconnected, and there is nothing they can do about it!!!  Ha!!!!!  As for callers who mask their number and just have "out of area" on the caller ID, I don't even answer those.

Try call blocking. It works!!!  One short ring, and they are disconnected.

Call blocking does the trick to stop this kind of thing.

I am already on a do not call list and they are calling us.

After who knows how many calls, I finally answered.  I asked if they were familiar with "Do Not Call" and was told "yes."  I advised them if they called back, I'd file a complaint.  Less than 2 hours later, yup, another call.  I filed the complaint.

I am also receiving calls in the evening from this number. They hang up upon answering. Truly annoying when we are already on the national do not call list.

Report the jerks to the feds if it is a cell phone or you are on the do not call list - they are violating federal law and apparently feel that this is not an issue as long as they earn money.

Thanks for the info!! I just called the 800 number and asked to be put on the DNC list. The operator asked for my number and said to give them about 48 hrs and my number would be kicked out of their system. She was very nice about it, we'll see if it works. Right now they are calling about 3 times a day - UGH!!!

These guys are hired to call about campaigns. Political phone calls are exempt from the Do Not Call Registeries!!! Call 719-219-0669 and speak your phone number after the beep. If mailbox is full, try in the mornings, this just means that everyone is calling them. I finally got through!!.
