Just got a call from this number, a hang up, then another, and another....

Well Chata, same to you because I will not give you the info they are paying you to phish for.

That's BS that Americans won't do the job.  American Companies are too damn cheap to pay a decent wage and that's why they farm out this work to third world countries.

Did you get that "equevelent to a collage" degree from the EQUIVALENT of a COLLEGE?  Use your spell check when you're trying to educate people.

Got a call from an Indian accented man asking for our (former) IT director.  I told him so-and-so was no longer with the company. He asked to speak to his replacement, and I lied and said we had not hired anyone as of yet. (Don't want these people calling daily annoying our new IT guy now) Looong pause..."You haven't hired a replacement?" And I said: "No." Another loooong pause that went on too long (30 seconds or more), so I finally said "Goodbye!", and hung up.

Caller claimed to be from Microsoft - I hung up.

We are getting 5 to 10 calls a day from this number. This is a company. How do we get this to stop???? We have dial the number but we get a message saying that the voice box is full.

Got a call from this number right after another call from a company that tried to get info from me, looked up their name from caller ID and found this:

This number called, hung up immediately when I picked up.  PST 9:15pm.

Called at 1am then hung up. When I call back, the line is always busy. Caller ID says Colorado Caller.

call came in at 3 AM, i missed the call and tried to call back (thought it might be a hospital or other emergency) and only got a busy signal - then i searched the number and found this post - glad it was here so we could go back to sleep.

I think it's his turn to feel how annoying it is to be contacted all the time to be harassed.

From reading the other comments, seems like they have changed their story on me.   They are calling to speak to the IT department.  I keep transferring them to our fake person.  Hehehe

Male Indian telemarketer. He wanted to set an "appointment up" with our IT. Got very argumentative when I fished for information, i used the excuse that I didn't know who to transfer him to without knowing what he was calling for. He kept arguing and unfortunately we had a bad connection.

Another phone call - "DJ", another male Indian, claim to be from "Verisign", just as argumentative and rude as the first caller. Tried to make me feel "stupid"; if I didn't know my IT terms. He found his way to "a bad connection".

They are not who they claim to be. They are a business to business telemarketing company and are very rude. I had asked them to remove the phone number from their system a month ago. Surprised they didn't? No. To others reading this, best to block them and file a complaint right away with the FTC or FCC. They are relentless, will not honor even their own DNC list let alone the FCC's DNC list, and will not remove you from their database.

I intentionally misdirect all of these calls, sending them down a rabbit hole.

The calls come in during the overnight hours when the office is closed. It could be someone in India using their cell phone to make the calls. Your phone number in the US could be a cell p hone number for someone in India.

Female w/Indian accent calling to "speak to person in charge of IT".  Sent right to the VM, since from reading similiar postings these callers aren't allowed to leave messages. Unless you ask for our IT guy specifically by name (and chances are, if you do, you still will go to HIS VM) you will go into our random, VM oblivion, which is a rarely used phone in a conf. room that no one knows the code to retrieve messages!!
