We have asked to be removed from the list and do not want their phone calls and they called repeatedly. Multiple times per day. They start out by saying we need to verify your address and proceed to say the address and will not stop even if we attempt to interrupt.

Harassment and a scam replies to OperatorRJ
We had a person using this number call our work place with outdated information. They were asking for the name of our president because they want to send them a letter regarding an upcoming conference. He wouldn't  give me any details, and just started repeating "I want to talk to the president" over and over. Continued to act like an idiot and calling our office again and again (literally every minute) asking the same thing. At one point he even said that he'll just call back later, probably hoping to talk to another person - I told him it doesn't matter when he phoned because he'll only ever reach me and at that point I wanted to talk to his manager - I figured why not I had time to annoy the scammers. He just kept on calling over and over and over again.

I was only able to stop the calls because I told him that our president asked me for his call back number and that I can't put him through unless I have it.

Answered this call.  They wanted one of our employees. Said he was calling for someone else (didn't remember the name).  Asked the purpose of the call. Would not tell me.  Said he was a teleamarketer and hung up.

Wanted to validate  work address, which I don't have a problem with, but wouldn't tell me why.  Thanked him all the same, and hung up.

This guy calls my office switchboard around every 2 minutes, he will not shut up long enough to hear my reply, but I have made it clear that he not call our office again.  This guy is just plain nuts, I have to disconnect the number around 25 times a day.

same as others...Indian sounding guy...poorly pronouncing one of our employees names...B&B or something was the company he said he was with when I asked....wanted to invite the employee to a seminar (and this employee would not likely ever be the one anyone invited to a seminar). When I pressed, he hung up.  BEWARE

Received a similar call to my cell phone trying to verify my business name and personal name. Claimed he was from FED EX trying to confirm address for delivery. When I asked for call back number to fed ex he hung up. I called the Pueblo police dept and gave them the phone number.

I can basically say the same thing that most of you have said.  The call really freaked me out.  I'll be on the lookout for a scam.

This is boarding on harassment. They want to verify the address so they can sell their list to places that will only send more unwanted mail. I have asked them to remove us from their list and the next day (sometimes even twice a day) I get the same call. I've asked for their supervisior and been hung up on. How do you stop the madness?!?

I am not just a receptionist PIG. You have no idea what we do you just call and get on peoples nerves. You can not speak English correctly and until you have a name to pronounce correctly you will never get through.

So, same story pretty much as everyone else except there's a little twist.  My company - ABC Inc - is owned by a larger company called XYZ Inc.  After answering the phone, "Thank you for calling ABC Inc; how may I direct your call?" the guy asks, "Is this XYZ Inc?"  I tell him, "No, this is ABC, Inc" and don't offer any further information.  He said he wanted to send mail to a "Greg Deutsch" (he spelled it for me) and I told him that we do not have an employee by that name (true).  He asked if we were located at 1234 Main Street, Anytown, US (which is our correct address) but I refused to confirm it.  I simply told him 2 more times that we do not have anyone at our business by the name of Greg Deutsch and that he must have the wrong #.  After he continued to ask questions, I told him he had the wrong # and that he should not call back again.  I'm sure he'll call again today -  I seem to remember other calls from this # with the same MO but asking for a different name.  It's possible we have a Greg Deutsch at our parent company (although not in upper management) but oh well!

I've had several calls from this number to my mobile over the last couple of days.  On those occasions when I have answered there is no-one on the other end.

One way to get rid of them other than hanging up on them is to tell them you will put them through and then put them on hold  instead- they really love that!  LOL!.   It's a nice way to waste some of their time for a change!  I've also put them thru to an extension that isn't being used by anyone.

Called my business phone number, left a message.  There was no message, just heavy breathing.  Get a life people, if you want answers, leave your name, number and reason for calling! Very unprofessional.

$%^&$ call came in at 1:43 AM. When my answering machine kicked in, call was cut off. Figured it was bogus even too late for call from West Coast. Apparently Do Not Call Lists DO NOT WORK as I have been on them and renewed for years with both of my phones. I usually average about four bogus calls per month. Don't answer any unrecognized numbers. If it's your friends they'll leave msg and you can contact right away.
