Just like all the other reports, he texted me a random introduction, said that he just strung a bunch of numbers together to get mine, etc.  This person clearly has some mental health issues and likes to harass people.  Like Random said above, a simple Google search shows how creepy this person is - and mentally unbalanced.

Same experience as other comments.  Strange random text saying “ Morning, Have A GoOd DaY. 🌤”.  Just going to block

this number texted me: ‘✧Д✧ HI 彡 GOOD EVENING彡‘
i said ‘sorry, who is this?’
they said ‘John, what’s Ur name?’
(i went to school with some Johns, so i replied)
‘[my first name], do i know you? how did you get my number haha’
they said they mashed up some numbers and came up with mine and asked if i was male or female.
i said i was female and then proceeded to ask how old i am, and if i was single with some flower emojis (gag). i asked them why they were asking and told them i was quite uncomfortable with these questions. they said ‘ Ok,  sorry to bother.  Bye. ’
I googled the number and came here and the number has been blocked. thank you all for your help.

A text saying good evening.   Said his name is John.

Asked if I wanted to continue to text and see where it goes.  I said no.

Received a text: Creepy in my opinion
Them: “Hi, GoOd Evening.”
Me: “Hi! May I ask who this is please?”
Them: “John, what’s your name?”
Me: “How did you get my number?”
Them: “Put numbers together to form a phone number. Happened to be urs. R u M or F?”
Me: “I am FBI.”
Them: “My bad, musta put in the wrong number “
Me: Ya. Must have.

Got a random text from this guy and identifies as John.

Got a text with weird combinations of upper and lower case. Classic spammer.

It’s 2020 and I’m getting this same message as people are complaining of 5 years ago.
