- JackieWe've been getting calls from 727-566-5772 for at least a month now. They call at least 4 times a day but never leave a message. I did answer once and they had asked for my partner who wasn't home at the time. When I asked what it was about, she said it was "personal business". I told her to take our number off her list and that our number is on the Do Not Call registry and has been for years. They still call constantly so when I see MCCS on the Caller ID, I just let it ring. I tried to block the number through the phone company but that service isn't offered anymore. That's when I "googled" the number and found this site. SO glad it's not just us getting these calls. Someone suggested to file a complaint on the Do Not Call registry online and I have. If they call again, I'll be giving them a piece of my mind!

- Romy replies to k| 3 repliesI called them back- it is Macy's collection service- in- wait for it--
India. - romyAlso- if they ask you for your Macy's card number or social security # - DON'T give it to them. They can find your account with only your phone number, which they already have.- it SEEMS to be Macy's- but a call to Macy's would probably be in order.--~peace~ romy

How do you get them to stop calling? - BerryCan you please deactivate this phone number or line, unwanted phone call from this number. thanks
- Klose Cawl replies to DaveI too was almost a victim. I received a call from the same number and a 'Mrs Bruce' claimed that she needed to speak with me urgently before 9pm my time.
Here were the alarms bells:
- First of all who introduces themselves as "mrs" anything on a customer service call.
- 9pm is way too late to be normal. Good luck getting any kind of customer service past 5pm.
- She didn't specify east coast or west coast time. It was clearly just an attempt to get me to call back under the guise of something important.
Without calling back I quickly googled "macy's hoax" to run into this site. Seeing that it was the same number and others have also been harassed it quickly confirmed my suspicion.
thanks for the warning and let others be warned as well. - Valerie BernardI have really had it with this number. They call at least four times a day.

- rocketshipsI've known that this is Macy's collections number. It's true that the agency does a piss-poor job of checking to see if a payment has been made (one time this happened when I had made a payment a week beforehand). I was a few days late on this last payment, which is fine and I've paid it online since, but this is what pissed me off: instead of calling my main and only number listed with them, which is my cell number, they somehow found my parents' home number and have been calling them nonstop for the past week. We are all on the same calling plan, but I live in Chicago and they live in Phoenix. Regardless, how did the agency find my parents' phone number?! It's incredibly shady and messed up.

- Ana replies to NancySame here. And I do have cards with these stores (which I will burn ASAP). They called me one day to tell me I have a past due and when I called them back they could not link my name to the card they had claimed I owed $ for. Ridiculous, unprofessional, fraudulent. They guys was in India obviously and could not communicate for the life of him. If the phone calls continue, I am reporting this to the police

- Charlie replies to New Jersey| 1 replyWe, too, have been receiving phone calls from this number on my girlfriend's cell phone which we've only had for about 2 months. The phone would ring and the number would appear on the Caller ID, but when she'd answer, they wouldn't say anything. All you could hear was background noise and others on the phone as if in a call center.
I finally called the number back and after 2 unsuccessful calls, finally spoke with a human being. The company is out of Florida and announced themselves as "Credit Services". I explained the situation and the woman told me her company is associated with the Macy's and Bloomingdale's credit cards. I explained that we didn't have either of these accounts. She did a reverse look up of our phone number and told me the name of the person they were looking for. Needless to say, it wasn't us. She informed me that the phone number would be taken off the call list.
The customer service reps name was Gloria Holmes and she told me if there were any problems in the future to ask for her by name. I hope that helps. Good luck with the annoying calls. - CharlieWe, too, have been receiving phone calls from this number on my girlfriend's cell phone which we've only had for about 2 months.
